Oil paint with me!
1 hour to make a classical oil painting EASILY.
Pears 🍐 pears 🍐 pears 🍐
All you need is three brushes, a small canvas
, linseed oil, a rag, and basic oils colours: cobalt blue, Naples yellow, ivory black, titanium white, (or English/Venetian red maybe cadmium yellow if your pear is particularly bright).. and a pear.

    this is wonderful Jess, thank you so much I had just bought my first oil paints and I was a little bit anxious about starting, this is so helpful and also so calming :) I have just watched one time just to watch and I'll be watching again while painting. Whenever possible for you reiterate, that would be lovely :)

    Hi, do you think someone that only uses acrylics can learn from this video of oils ? Can never use oils as I have lung ailments. Thanks so much.

    Hi @KLeonardM Absolutely this is a painting lesson, it might be harder to blend colours without using oil as the mechanics of the different mediums is different - however it will give you a satisfying result I’m sure particularly with development of light and tonal study in mixing and applying paint.
