What are the odds

putting Pain vs OpenAI was very good idea, they're so talented players and bunch of trolls same time :) they also tested lot of things about bot movements, reactions etc. it was such a nice game to watch, i hope we see more of these in next days against other teams.

In other word, This game is just Calculated, Dead Serious AIs vs Emotional, Abusive-human nature, Professional players. Watch out how Presenters talk when either side won. If AI lose, meh. I think people underappreciated how good pro teams really are. This OpenAI bot will beat 8k pub stack easily but Pain Gaming's coordination is superior. Pain Gaming may be last place in TI but they're still 18th best team in the world. You gotta realize that fact.

Idk why you people are going on this guy. They are stupid. +I'm the captain now, Silencer ulti is not a point cast like eul's is, making it alot easier to do. It's literally impossible to instant eul someone unless you pre-cast it, so you gotta have vision of your opponent before he jumps. Because that way if you pre-cast it, when he blinks in he will be instantaneously eul'ed.

And the fact that it plays with itself.. every teamfight it predicts that the other team has insane reaction speeds like them... Open ai should learn to underestimate the calculations of the other team... More like program it to fight people and not program it to fight its own perfect self.. because everytime a clash happens they get the wrong idea that humans can execute everything perfectly, thats why they back out of fights that they can easily win using their instant cast and calculations alone.

Rovy As per openAI designers, these AI aren’t given access to all heroes . Only 48 heroes. If these AIs are given Invoker , humans will not have a chance. Then why didn’t they give stronger heroes is because their intentions were to test how AIs learns by itself, not to see if they can defeat humans. However, open AI program has been closed for Dota 2 , now the same AI is being taught - cell biology to work on cancer cure . Hopefully, AIs will crack something there .

you realize the openAI do these kinds of events exactly for that reason? To improve their AI. The AlphaGo system got way stronger even after beating the world class pros. 5 AI bots working together is a very complicated problem - but they will become stronger than any human team IF the OpenAI-team has enough of an incentive to keep devoting work and resources to this

A.I. will never beat human's period. A.I. only improves on what codes they were given and they don;t know how to be unpredictable or change their strategies. Humans on the other hand will always find a way to go above and beyond. A.I. can't do that unless their creator once again give them a new set of codes which the creator also learns from human players themselves.

the AI is still far from being ideal they have some sort of bugs, like TP while being in fountain or too many wards in a single place this is bad but I don't this this is crucial - not crucial at all the main problem is that all they can - they can react they didn't initiate fight on 9:36, gyro had aegis, they could have continue the fight but they give up like, they don't actually know what aegis is - but I think it's actually just a lack of planning - they simply just CAN'T plan they also don't communicate with each other, so they're sort of planning, but this is egoistic planning with an egoistic parameter, starting with being fully egoistic initially, becoming less egoistic in late game (devs call it "team spirit") but I'm still feeling inspired about it it's interesting how far they will come will bots be able to plan together on next TI? then probably it will be a win

Thats my experience whenever playing with bots. They know their mechanics pretty well and have like unbeatable reaction times. But when i took a strong farmed combined with some save apace due to wards, i mostly could stand late, or i even managed to set the phace of fights...

each bot understands the meaning of a placing a ward near the roshan, but doesn't have the ability to understand that ward is already placed there by other bot.

it seems that bots also don't know when roshan is about to respawn. anyway, in a near future due to additional training most of this bugs will be removed from the models, or maybe openai.v2 will be created, if this model will not work properly.
