Hai ചേച്ചി. ഞാൻ ഒരു Photographer ആണ്... ഗാനമേളക്ക് തബല , Drums ഒക്കെ വായിക്കാൻ പോവാറുണ്ട്. ചെറുപ്പം മുതലേ Air Hostess ആവാൻ താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ഇങ്ങനെ തിരിഞ്ഞു... ചേച്ചിടെ വീഡിയോസ് ഒക്കെ കണ്ടു തുടങ്ങിയതിനു ശേഷം ഞാൻ air hostess ആവാൻ ഇന്ന് Admission എടുത്തു... See, Whatever the Investigation report says keep it aside. That is all constructed in the luxury of Room Temperature to ideal mindset and condition. Just like a Judge delivering verdict on an accused who must have acted as per need of hour. So leave that part. The first culprit is the Maintenance Engg. who cleared the Aircraft. The first lesson in multi-Engine class is Thrust and uneven Thrust. I don't know the the power level and other controls that was up for the rest of the engines. Anyway, had it been third or second Engine fighting with low thrust situation, what Engg. did was correct. Other parameters would have been good enough to compensate the issue without pushing to limits and at minimum expense of Airspeed. Captain here is definite Hero. He made equal no. of Take-off and Landings in one 'Piece'. That is what is counted above all. What he did and did not is all eclipsed by his Airmanship in taking back the control and with safe touch down. Had the Aircraft crashed all blame would have been on Engg., because the Aircraft made it in one they could fetch all data with minimum effort and judge things claiming to be poor handling by Capt. The ferrying of Christian Missionaries was new info to me. Perhaps that must have been the 'act of penance' ordered by Vatican to brush off the past sins committed by Airline.

Thanks for the explanation in detail. What scares me is that how the 'pilots get bored' when the aircraft is in 'auto-pilot' mode ... leading to a slack in attention of the aircraft manuovre in flight. However, the pilots were quick to rectify the errors and bring the aircraft to its destination safely. What further confuses me is how can an individual have fatigue when the aircraft is moving through different latitudes of the globe. It's only on arrival, does this fatigue develops...so far as my knowledge goes. I understand for a long distance flight, the varying time zones usually do not affect an individual till arrival. Grateful if you could throw some light on this to enhance my understanding. Regards...

4-5 hours flight doesn't affect much. Anything above 7 hours it does. It is because so called 'Biological Clock' gets screwed up. The fatigue is the end result of catching up with the normality. This fatigue gets piled up with each passing Time Zone and ends in backlog. People working in night shift face the same music. There is a definite equilibrium that co-exist between Geographical Location and individual, this governs the Biological Cloak. We people are created to exist on surface of Earth, when existence excel to 40,000' above one got to compromise on Biological Cloak among many.
