It's funny and maybe? intensionally ironic that Brett and Eddie constantly talk about Paganini and trash the viola, (Yes, viola jokes are funny, but it can get old eventually) when in fact Paganini's teacher Allesandro Roland was a virtuoso violist!! -not an oximoron- This piece exists because Harold In Italy (written for him) was such a disappointment to Paganini, he decided to show Berlioz what a real virtuoso viola composition should be. Ha ha.

what from Twoset sent you here? trying to prove them wrong when they said they have never heard Paganini done well on a viola? They're such jerks and their jokes are old and repetitive. I don't think they've ever heard of the concept of punching down and why it's not good comedy.

@@wizardjokes first of all, you are the first violist I've met who can't take a joke. Secondly I left this comment from a video they made where they were genuinely reacting to this piece and respecting it. You realize that the jokes are sarcastic and everyone actually appreciates viola right?

@@IsaacW. it's not about taking a joke, it's about years of the same old thing over again to the point where it's not funny anymore and demoralizing. I there a reason you need to make someone feel shitty about their skills in order to have a nice time? Get some better material.

@@IsaacW. I'm not even a violist, I'm just sick of hearing the same tired old garbage repeated on loop as a lazy way to be "funny". You need to look up "punching down" too, it seems because if all you do is repeat the same easy-pickings "jokes" all the time and work it into your routine vernacular it's not sarcasm or irony anymore, it's just your opinion.
