It’s not just the technique thats so impressive, it’s the phrasing. Even many solo violinists just play this fast, but the way she plays it actually sounds like music

Xelepteüs: Ms. Klaverenga has some mad, fretboard skills! She adds a lot of her own chops to the mix and makes it her own. Hell when she first started the lick I was thinking *that doesn't sound like Paganinni's Caprice no. 5.* It wasn't until at least a minute into it that I was in familiar territory. The song itself is a little over a minute but she managed to stretch it to 3:23.

Timothy McCaskey unless you are talking about Kavakos’s performance, which was extremely fast, the normal performance time of this piece is around 2:40, so it less of a stretch, but it is still impressive how much she can extend it.

Ive always heard how difficult this piece was but hearing it on the only instrument I know how to play really puts it into perspective. Damn.
234 people who suck at guitar thumbed this down. Lady you are a goddess. Keep sharing your artistry.
One of the best version of Caprice No. 5 by classic guitar I've ever witnessed. After that, I'm sure the guitar had a cigarette.
I've been playing almost 35 years... I could not even begin to attempt this.. Absolutely fabulous playing, feel and phrasing. My only question is why have 400 people pressed the thumbs down? What kind of world are we living in where people dissaprove of the beauty of music - especially played so flawlessly.
Anyone can play guitar, but not many can make the guitar sing

@@bro6117 Yes. My guitar teacher told me I'll never be a great sight reader, I'll always be handicapped reading music, that if I had studied even a little in my youth I would have that edge. But I'm just a hobbyist, I don't need to be able to do that immediate eye to hand thing in 3 takes. And that's how they do it... play it once to get the fingering, play it again to get the dynamics, the third time is it, cut the $800 check and good night Irene. To me those pro sight readers are amazing. And they look at the sheet music and can hear it in their amazing heads. I took a classical guitar course at Julliard. You could put some sheet music in front of the teacher that he never saw before and he'd play it like it was memorized.

The way your fingers slide on the guitar is really satisfying. Also being able to see your hand moves that clear helps so much while practicing. Thanks for the content.
Awesome. This is the cleanest version I’ve heard so far after dozens of videos. And your techniques are so smooth. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
Your performance is immensely pleasurable to listen to, very expressive and clean, masterful playing, like magic. Thank you...
Once I saw the sheet music I understand why it almost felt like a flamenco piece - so many notes and blisteringly fast - totally impressed, Chacconne, just wow 😳
This is pure magic. This sounds like an absolute god. This is unbelievable and if you ever would perform somewere in the Netherlands I will defenetly buy a ticket. This is amazing. Thank god I was wondering if the 5th could be played on the guitar.
The fluidity that you display executing that piece is amazing. I'm an electric guitarist, so I play this with a pick, but an octave higher (well, parts of it). I can't even imagine trying to play this fingerstyle, on a classical guitar! Very, very nicely done.
Those hands are casting spells with her magical piece of music. I can just picture Paganini smiling from ear to ear at this! Simply mesmerizing and breathtaking! Very well done indeed.
Incredible! The time spent in her craft would awe Malcolm Gladwell! I could watch and listen to her all day!
Such clean notes and yet still not rushing any of them. I'm sure you've only gotten leagues better since this posting. Fantastic playing.
BRAVISSIMA.... è una INTERESSANTE interpretazione per un CAPRICCIO tra i più difficili e belli. COMPLIMENTI!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Fantastic. Discipline and artistry. No rushed naïve overstepping, superb sense of dynamics and musicality. I wonder what you must sound like now. Keep playing and you have the capacity to achieve true virtuosity, something truly rare. Bravo, you are a wonder to behold.
I never get tired of watching this video. The expression mixed with the close familiarity with music makes this performance satisfying and inspiring.

Fenomenalne wykonanie z pełnym zrozumieniem utworu! Brawo!
Stunning!
Picking overtone harmonics in the highest of strings with one finger to pick, the other to lightly touch the overtone shows extreme skill... I have seen Eric Johnson do something like this in his SRV cover... and of course Eddie just blatantly tapping the harmonics with his fingers, but the way she is doing it show such technical prowess.. and this version is definitely her own version of the 5th Caprice.... I like the way she plays with all of the spontaneity of total understanding of not only the guitar, but music theory in general.. and I'm sure she can play that piano with the same prowess..
