Great review as always steve, I genuinely have started to enjoy your B-roll shots recently (they were always great but look even better nowadays), they make the watch look even better somehow, I might just pull the trigger on this piece as my first ever mechanical watch now that you've provided some insight. It's going to be my first mechanical watch so I was going to have a bit of fun with it thats why i liked the LHD, lovely colorway too

First of all, that intro was very nicely done mate. As for the watch, I like the colourway and that is about all really. GMT's aren't my favourite, but I do hope they make a non-gmt right hand drive in this colour. Also that movement is a little questionable too. Still got work to do on the lume front too. Nicely work.

Ditto - great intro. I have the watch and think it's fun, frills, and if you genuinely wear watches on RH (I do a lot of the time) then it's kind of functional also. I can't imagine this will be the last homage in this style. PD have at least set the bar for others to surpass.

The bezel in this color is ceramic. Pepsi and coke still use Aluminum.

yeah, they are pretty hit and miss. I've had like 6 or 7 of them, and they have all been fine but never used them for more than a couple years. generally, I think they are fine. but there's always the chance you get a lemon. REALLY hoping pagani updates these to the NH34...that would be awesome

I used to think I would be a submariner/gmt guy for life…but the more I crawl down the rabbit hole the more they bore me. I think it’s the flat case and their inability to look good with anything but metal bracelets, (my opinion.) thanks as always for the review.

Hi!. I swapped out my stock oyster bracelet with a leather strap and now I'm having trouble rettaching it again. The shock bars can't get into thr lug holes no matter how much I try. Most I get is one side in, another side is off by a very small amount. Do u have any tips? Thanks. I have the exact same sprite as you but mine is with oyster.

A problem with most Pagani watches, unfortunately. You just have to keep trying. Use the springbar tool to press on the tip (no depress into the springbar, but to force it over into the hole) Some people use fishing line or floss to loop it around the bar and pull it I to place but this hasn't ever worked for me. Good luck!

Got an early version of the Pepsi one and I think they ruined it when they changed the case and the crown. A Can't unsee the huge crown 😆The insert looks awesome though

the original Rolex Sprite GMT is on oystersteel right? Jubilee looks better but people will notice immediately that it is a homage if you wear it on a Jubilee bracelet

If you care buy an actual Rolex and wear something else like a Seiko diver or just a super clone if you don't have 10k+ of disposable income.

I've been fooled by the position of the crown the first time. I put it on my wrist the wrong way. 😂

For me, it's the feel. Easy way to tell us to pull the crown to the time setting position. Rotate the crown clockwise and the time should move forward. If the time moves back it's the DG/Pearl

@@1972myc forgot this has a display caseback. Just look at the movement. NH34 will have it (very faintly) stamped on the rotor

There seems to be a special flat-blade screwdriver, but there is a rumor that it is big, so should I prepare a precision screwdriver separately?

thx I only have 1.6, I have to buy it, I wish I could have a split pin type or a C-ring instead of being bad at it.

Surely one of the main selling points is that it is fitted on the right hand so easily usable for a lefthanded person. So, why fit it the wrong way round.

True. But I couldn't get used to it on the HR. And having it on the left gets the crown away from digging into the wrist. More comfortable for sure. I'm so used to RH watches that I found it really tough to use it as a LH watch (especially manipulating the crown)

Everything is good but nothing is good 😂 Honestly I will never buy another PD because of that many flaws. I got only one and braclet is pain in the ass and one of the endecies just fell off. I can't bother to send them watch back. And that sharp clasp omg I cut my friend so bad with it once.

how I felt the entire time I had the watch :) I just couldn't get used to it.

Acutely this watch suits for muslim, bcz we wear the watch on our right hand! Rolex maybe targeting this model for middle East customer's!

definitly hard to get used to...but after a couple of days it seems fine...but yeah, i grabbed this a few times and put it on up-side-down.

Oh no, this one's not for me! Don't like the original. Frankly these movements are rubbish. So even if this was really well made I wouldn't like it! 😆

lol, fair enough. ive had a fare share of these movements, and as long as I don't try and remove the stem from the watch, they have been absolutely fine for me...but I've heard stories.

Free means it’s not a real review. Pay for it yourself, or everything you say is biased. Also, Pagani is junk.
