Reaction to the Padres series loss vs. Arizona. Friday was a rollercoaster, as San Diego had a five-run lead going into the ninth but then had to comeback from down a run to win it in walk-off fashion thanks to Manny Machado! The Padres couldn't get the win in extras on Saturday and Dylan Cease pitched the final game of the series. Yu Darvish has been placed on the restricted list, as he's dealing with a personal matter. Will he return this season? Plus, a few more Padres will be joining Jurickson Profar (and maybe Fernando Tatis Jr.) in Arlington this month.

We are in the final wild card spot right now with a 2 game cushion but I’m very concerned with the Snakes catching us and possibly the Mets the way they are playing. I think it’s honestly a toss up between who is better between us and Snakes. I also don’t see Cardinals falling so I’m scared as heck with our bullpen and Starters and our upcoming schedule is brutal. Mariners,Braves and Guardians that is going to be huge test
I'm confused why we keep ending up with a Garcia / Wandy in pivotal moments. Was at Saturdays game and had a real "oh brother" moment while he warmed up. At least they won on my birthday in epic fashion.

@@Audi0Surferz part of the reason is because Suarez has to get used when they don’t want to use him because a reliever makes it a save situation

@@TalkingFriars Definitely. It makes me sad that we end up having guys that make me(us?) groan when we see them walking on. I felt bad that the stadium booed him like they did on Saturday, but I get it. I was frustrated too.
