His administration was pretty meh overall as well. He didn't really brought any administrative reforms and was mostly involved in wars only. He did managed to defeat the Mongols though. I will give him that. Not all rulers would have been brave enough to fight against the Mongols.

I'll tell you now. I found Mehrunissa quite more intriguing, interesting, powerful and beautiful than I did Padmaavati. Her poise, grace, strength in the face of the worst moments in her life where the man who is supposed to care and provide for her takes away everything she has held dear in her life and eventually sentenced her to life in prison when she dared to do one thing wrong but still in the preservation of her cruel husbands soul. You want to know the strength of a woman? You can find it in one who fights evil. You can find it in one who refuses to bow down to evil. But Mehrunissa's strength is the example of a woman who sits, sleeps and eats next to evil and still remains strong. Padmaavati gave her life to escape Alauddin. Mehrunissa gave her life to stand beside Alauddin. That is the strength of a woman.
