Yes I would say he best at ballads but I think Luke Kelly overall, but paddy Reilly a close second

With no intention of being rude it was said to once (as part of a skiffle group) that 'it was our job to remember the lyrics and the tunes. More difficult for my wife for, as a lead singer, she also had the children at the back of her mind. It's why so many women singers abandon family life.
