Love how he got humbled by the fans and now he's more mature, learnt his lesson and showed he can actually be solid. Paddy is more a man now after the injury, before he was just a mouthy hyped kid. Ian Garry should steal a page of his book.

@@sharingiscaring1952 guess we all just want a hero and he was, at the beginning, for the things he said about mental health and whatnot. He was fresh air until he defo let it go to his head. There are people out there like GSP or Khabib who are so humble and respectable that even today they're untouchable by the community. But we truly don't have many charismatic fighters nowadays apart from Suga. So fans just hate when they're too cocky. Paddy looks like he's back to his humble self and if he keeps like this, rest assured fans will carry him throughout the way to the top.

@@LiamLees-md1iq Yeah, not my cup of tea either. There's no denying that his antics are effective though. UFC is most watched in America, the average American demographic is 24-35, male, and right-leaning (as all competitive domains tend to be). It may be appealing to the lowest common denominator, but it makes him the best draw in Welterweight - a division entirely bereft of any charisma, with a few notable exceptions lower in the rankings. Most Americans are aware that he's playing a character, so he's still their guy. I think O'Malley has said worse this week and nobody is complaining about him.
