Join me on an adventure as I paddle on my SeaLion Paddleboard to Old Harry Rocks, a stunning natural landmark that is over 66 million years old and is located off the coast of Dorset, England.
As I make my way towards the rocks, I take in the breathtaking views of the ocean, with its crystal-clear waters and picturesque coastline. Once I arrive at Old Harry Rocks, it's time for a refreshing swim in the cool waters, whilst enjoying the tranquility of the moment
The rocks themselves are a sight to behold, with their towering cliffs and unique rock formations. We take some time to explore the area, taking in the beauty of nature and reflecting on the wonders of the world around us.
The incredible natural beauty that surrounds us and the joy that can be found in exploring the outdoors, is just truly magical.

How deep is it around the rocks? I'd like to go there in my dinghy one day. Cheers.

Hiya, The sea depth will depend on when you're visiting, given tide times and weather conditions etc, but the average depth is 20-30metres, which reduces the closer you get and then becomes shallow enough to walk in. Be sure to check the conditions are correct before you head out as the tidal currents can be quite strong on the outer side of the rocks. Happy Sailing ✨️

@@DinaWanders Thanks for your reply. I was out in Studland Bay the other day, the first time I've used a boat of any kind, probably the best thing I've ever done. I'll study tides etc, and try the rocks next year, I'll have a better boat by then as well. Wish I lived down there, it's lovely! Thanks again.

Hiya, sorry for the delay. I've only been out a few times on my Tasman, but so far would absolutely recommend it, especially for the sea. It sits lovely on the water and is big enough if you need to have a passenger 😊 I think they are on sale at the moment with 25% off.

Hiya, The beach is Knoll Beach, National Trust Studland. Parking is a couple of minutes' walk, if that and they have a cafe, toilets etc too
