Paddle boarder trailed by shark during relay race from The Bahamas to Florida
Malea Tribble and her husband, Rickey Tribble, were participating in a paddle board relay race when a hammerhead shark emerged from the water, trailing Malea's paddle board.
After hopping on the boat, they regrouped and decided to continue the race once the shark left. Malea said she plans to race against next year as it helps raise awareness and funds for people with cystic fibrosis.

Something similar to this happened to my lil brother one time when we were all out on our family boat knee-boarding. We just saw a big fin come up and stay up swimming right behind him while he was on the knee board. My step reacted by calmly raising the speed and telling us to be quiet. Eventually we were going to do fast that my brother started yelling at us and asking why we were pulling him so fast. Once we finally saw the fin disappear (it trails him even after we sped up for a good way) we immediately stopped the boat and told hil not to let go of the rope and we all pulled him in fast as we could. He still don't know what was going on. We told him after he was safe. That element I believe was very important because he was inexperienced and panic would of caused him to fall to soon.

That’s an interesting statement and very accurate I have to say! The only thing I would not be concerned with that she asked “*Is it a big one” WTF does it matter, a shark is a shark is a shark! Even a sand shark will rip 🪦 an unwanted hole in flesh! 😮

I wouldn’t be too worried around a hammerhead, but I would never be in that position in the first place….. the curiosity stemmed from the paddleboard shape, if the human being actually jumped into the water the hammerhead would probably clear out…. Hammerheads really don’t want anything to do with people,Statistics are heavily on your side …..That being said, I still wouldn’t put myself in that situation.
Why is she whispering and motioning “shark” like it’s going to hear her? 😂😂😂
