It kills me that you didn't let us hear what the sound of dice rolling into the leather lined wood tray but it came out great and I totally enjoyed watching this.

You are absolutely right, I need to add a segment on all videos relating to dice where you can just hear them roll. Dice asmr if you will.

Great result, the tray looks beautiful. I am an amateur in woodworking with only basic tools but I will definitely tackle this project too. :) How thick is your border? Looks like 0,5 cm / about 0,2 inch

Thank you! If I remember correctly the pieces I used were 1/8 inch

@@Warehouse18 thank you for your answer! That's pretty thin but I love the look of these finer borders. I only got beech wood with a thickness of 1cm / 0,39 inch in our local store, so I gotta thin it a bit down to at least 0,19 inch (sorry for the weird measurements, I'm only familiar with metric system :D)

If I did it again I’d do it thicker, so your beech might be ok if you like the look. I may have used 1/4 of an inch pieces. And don’t worry about using the metric system, you were kind enough to do the conversions for me lol.
