    Thank you Thank you Thank You!!!! Im 3 weeks in and currently struggling. Although im a seansoned RN, PACU is new and im very interested in furthering my nursing career in this area. If you have any advice, my issue thus far is speed. I have 1.5 yrs of ICU experience and I found myself getting flustered and overwhelmed with 2 patients, Ive had 3 preceptors the first week and im viewed upon as incompetent. Any advice?!

    Hi Jenny, simply put its how long after removing a line with either manual pressure or a closure device that you have no bleeding, Thus you have reached hemostasis. Via manual pressure can take 5-10 minutes or longer dependent on many factors.
