Note the light color of the inside of the backpack/purse. That makes it easier to find things. Baggallini also has this feature.

I do like the out-takes at the end. In a funny way, it makes me appreciate the difficulties of making such a video. It's like a Jackie Chan movie when during the closing titles, they show all the times his stunts went wrong. It makes you appreciate all the more the time it went right!

I found Pacsafe 12+ years ago and have 3 of their bags that just do not wear out! Those are great for all seasons, especially my purple sling which looks like I am wearing out the stitching!

I started with pac safe I think 1998 I bought the XL mesh that goes around your backpack and use that a Many times and and it worked great but then everyone will see the big wire around it so I started to throw a towel around just to hide it so people wouldn’t know I had valuables in it, I bought say 15 of their different style travel gear since I like their stuff but what I like the most is the duffel bag that with the long hard cable really secures my stuff. I’ve just put it on a little dolly and then my small day pack on top and roll it around.., I also use a little USB charger camera and I threw some paint on it to make it look like it was an old junk one so I could see who’s in my room while I’m not there and I have another little spy camera I could put it like in the drapes or something and see any one time when I spent 4 1/2 years in Central America traveling around I got a Sacco potato burlap bag and before I will get to the bus stations I will put my backpack in that burlap bag and tie. The top was just a little junk string so I would look like a local. This works wonderful two times that saved my luggage actually one time a guy hid underneath the bus and sat on my backpack burlap sack and went through everyone’s luggage. And he didn’t through mine because it was in my potato bag not a very good looking potato sack. mind you and another time my luggage was on the roof and again the guy sat on my luggage and went through all the luggage and I didn’t lose my stuff , to this day I still use my old faithful potato sack sometimes works best but I wish they made a duffel bag that was twice. The size is the largest when they have it’s not big enough for my camera gear and valuables with a larger, locking mechanism on it would be best..,and say two blocks before bus stop id cover my pack with potato sack so no at bus stop seen me doing it

I love pacsafe! I bought the MetroLS100 or 200!I can’t remember, but I felt so safe last year in Paris and now I’m going to Ireland. I love the new convertible one. It may be my next purchase.

It's a great bag! I use it as a "purse" at my destination, so what goes into it depends on the day. If it's just a few things and/or I'm dressing up a bit, I use it as a purse. If I'm taking a few more things then I use it as a backpack. It's very versatile!

Really enjoyed your informative video. I thought I had found the perfect light weight rolling carry on. I am disappointed that they have No rolling carry on luggage.

When going through TSA line , do they open the backpacks when you lock them and put them in the grey bins ?

They only open the bags if they see something in the xray that needs further investigation.

Hey Greg, No - Pacsafe makes stuff for everybody, not just women! Very much. I'm sure you'll find something to your taste there. One of the anti-theft features of Pacsafe is the ability to affix some of their backpacks / travel safes to immovable objects (eg: in your accommodation, or at the beach) and lock it up. Regarding clubbing etc, it depends on your personal style/fashion etc, but there are underclothes options to carry stuff you don't need to access in public. Your phone-in-front-pocket-of-skinny-jeans strategy also works! ;-)

I wear prescription glasses and sunglasses. So, I am constantly switching from one to the other when I am going out and about. I would love to have quick access to them. Are there any good styles of pacsafe that have outside pockets for them?

Ooh - great question! Yes, a lot of their purses and small backpacks have outside pockets for such things. It boils down to your style and how much stuff you want to carry (and thus the size of bag you want). I really like the Citysafe CX Convertible Backpack because of the extra pockets and also the versatility to be a smaller purse or larger backpack.

I've been able to keep them clean with just a wet cloth when needed.

I'm not seeing any wheeled travel bags from PacSafe on their website.

Sadly they discontinued their wheeled luggage. I still hope they bring it back!

I know this is an old video but the issue keeps coming up in every video I see, the resistant slash items mean it will stand up to a toothpick and that's probably about it. All this stuff will rip instantly when a blade touches it.

The older pack was to show the longevity of the bag and how well it can hold up over time. If you visit the Pacsafe website you'll find a whole host of Ventursafe daypacks that are similar.

Online store sold out of everything. It’s freakin weird.

These luggage bags or backpacks are too expensive. I could find similar items in amazon for more than half price of many of your choices--you are just overpaying for a brand name similarly when you buy Apple products such as laptops, iPhones, tablets, etc. I would not buy any of your so-called recommendations in this video. Anyhow, thank you for your effort. 🤔
