Packrafting the Leven Canyon in Tasmania
An overnight trip down Leven Canyon in NW Tasmania, Australia. Normally this is kayaked at much higher levels (usually winter, spring) however we decided to do a low volume summer trip, take overnight gear and take our time. Lots of fun and a beautiful part of Tasmania to explore.

Nothing like starting and adventure by losing your packraft. Looks like a pretty wild trip though. Thanks for sharing!

All the yellow boats are Kokopelli although they were their first generation boat. Their latest self-bailers are awesome! Check out www.kokopellipackraft.com

Any idea of water level at the time of filming?

Just back from 4 days of paddling and have checked my logbook but all I wrote was 'super low'. Sorry I cant be more specific but it was base flow for that summer. I have been there in other summers that were drier and it has been even lower than this and not really paddleable.
