Hey you two, its the Kim and Erran starting our FBA circus, once again. I have a very quick question regarding the FNSKU. I have printed/downloaded our labels to send for the manufacturer to place on our products. My question is we have a Dummy Product Title in there right now because we haven't finalized our listing yet but our manufacturer is done making our product (long crazy story) but is our FNSKU still compatible with our product is we change our product listing title later on after the dummy title is printed on the sticker. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for walking us through this process, not sure what we would have done without both of your amazing guidance!! Hope to meet you both IRL out in the International World someday!! We start our trip around the world in late July 2021!!

Hi guys! First of, yes, that makes sense and it's fine that your title won't match, the most important thing is the barcode and the number. However, I would still try to use a "dummy title" that makes sense even if you change it soon. Also, make sure to send your supplier the new FNSKU for your next order just to keep things up to date. And that's so exciting! Where are you guys going next? We are coming back to the US this Saturday for about a month and then heading to Europe. Would love to meet you guys IRL too! Keep us posted on your itineraries :)

@@SumnerHobart awesome we did do a title that is close to what we will use. Just not exactly worded. And we will send the new sticker next round once it’s all final. We are starting in Rome and then staying in Europe until December, so we will definitely have to stay in touch so we can cross paths!!! That would be awesome!!!

I got 3000 boxes and poster tubes 3000 printed with my brand and QR to instagram profile. Box also has website on the side. can I stick a sticker on the box to. hide the QR? I am planning to give the boxes individually packed in grey polythin bag which will hide the QRs,, but if customer returns to amazon, I will get caught most likely. what to do?????

I am new and am in the process of printing my packaging and am a bit confused about whether I require the UPC or FNSKU on my packaging. I called Seller support and the person there told me that I don't need to print the FNSKU on my product as I purchased a UPC from GS1 and my product is made from scratch. Now I am questioning whether this is correct. If I can just use the UPC for the product packaging, then where does the FNSKU go? I have a case log for this but they are taking a while to get back to me.

Hi Natalie, I'm not 100% certain of your case but it is still safer to print and attach FNSKU label instead of the UPC code because if someone else creates a listing with the same ASIN and UPC and tries to sell your product, Amazon does not give your product priority, they will ship whichever product is closest to the buyer that has that UPC barcode. Not sure if that makes sense but in my opinion I think you should print the FNSKU barcode just as a precaution - it won't "hurt" you at all. Hope this helps!

i have a question, i am packing 2 same items, but in 2 different colors, into a brown box, as a set. DO i need to have "do not separate, sold as set" since there will be two color in the little box? But since they are in the box, amazon people should not be able to see there are two different color in it unless they open the box..

In this case, you don't! But just in case is safer to call seller support to confirm regarding your specific type of product.

Hey Ali and Sumner, We are getting ready to send our first shipment to Amazon, as of right now our supplier said that they have sent many shipments to Amazon and they understand the rules, but they just told me that they are going to send a total of 748 units all the same product with the same FNSKU label in 37 boxes 36 boxes will have 20 units each and the 37th box will have 8 units. Watching this video literally 12 times to make sure I got it right I am still confused due to my supplier saying they do it all the time vs. what you said in this video. Also I should select case packed not individually packed for this shipment I stated above, is that correct. I do not know why this is so freaking confusing. I just don't want to mess up my first shipment to Amazon. And now I don't know if my supplier really knows the rules. Please Help once again!! Thanks for everything!!

Hi! How did it go with your shipment? I have a similar problem. I think what you should be doing is using individually packed shipment plan because each of your unit are not case packed even though they are all the same FNSKU. That's why they can have different number of units in each master carton. Please let me know my theory is correct. Thanks!

I package my product in a corrugated mailer and seal the opening with a sticker. This is meant as a decorative addition more so than a functional seal. How do I make sure that Amazon doesn't slap a label on my package and send it out as is, since it's unlikely to survive intact on its own.

Hi Tony, I believe you might be able to request a "special packaging" in order to be sure they won't use your own but there will probably be a fee per unit for that. I'm not 100% sure of this so I highly recommend you contact seller support and ask for their advise on that. I'll definitely let you know if I find out something more about that! Best wishes, Ali
