I did it! I have been trying to fold this tent up for days in my backyard. Thanks to KZread I'm able to watch a 'master' from overseas do it in 1 minute. Thanks for the instructional video 😊

I tried folding this tent at the park using the paper instructions but couldn't replicate what this dude is doing. I have it in storage right now and bookmarking this video to give it another try at another date.

okay so here are my takeaways: 1. front of the tent on right hand and rear of the tent on left hand. 2. use the right hand to fold it over into a figure 8. 3. the right hand loop will be folded over. 4. you should see the black strap on the right hand. use the left hand to straighten everything. 5. use the right hand to pull and fold.

Thank you for this. I am managing to fold it as you are doing, but when I put the elastic around, it seems that the elastic is not strong enough to keep the whole thing in place - so if I stop holding it in my hand, the tent just wants to spring open again, even though the elastic is wrapped around. For now I have put it in the bag and the bag itself kind of keeps it from opening up, but it still does not feel secure. Could it be that my elastic just happened to give in, and I should try to use another one?

Hi Bruce! Am choosing between the big one (shown in your video) and a smaller one, w/c has two entrances (meaning better ventilation). Got to wondering if I can buy the big one and open up an entrance on the other end ...you think it's possible without ruining the tent?

Hi Sigma，It will be easy to ruin the tent and leak the water drops.And making a door with DIY is a complicated engineering,So I don,t suggest you opening up another entrance .Thank you and Have a good camping day.!

Its was my first time w tent it was hard but I was using it slow instead of being faster but overall I gave it a 8 out of 0 to a 10 80 percent is fair but my first time outdoor past two days yes I like it Its the tear down I don't like but u need speed to overcome it Seen two little kids help from mom a dad to try they did it well me , im slow to learn I will be a pro someday I guess

After I put the two part of the 8 together the elastic wont hold, the tent try to open itself. I have watch this video and a couple others a couple of Time and I cant get it done. I have the 4 places One. If someone know how to do it Will be wonderful.

Couldn’t get the last twist . Broke an aluminum spacer thing. Ordered another on-line. Tried again and failed. So, I will be storing the tent in the larger state.

Hello Katie, Just put the ring upright ,then push the top point (the high peak )down , then it will twist into "8“ ，so you can fold the two "o" of "8" together . Don 't worry of its poles breaking, they are strong enought to twist, I believe you can be successful for it , and you will feel very easy to pack it up once again .

I've found there's a correct side vrs a wrong side when folding, I about ran into the same issue as you @Katie, I went back to step one and started folding it all the opposite way(or 180deg from where I started the 1st time) I was the 1st time around

I cannot get the second twist in this tent. I have tried 8 times and it is still in a huge circle that won't fit in the bag and I won't be able to use it unless I can get this done. It is so resistant it will snap if I force it. What is the secret to this???

Hello, Machado , thank you for purchasing the pop up tent . Please twist the "O" into the "8",then fold the one side "O" of "8" on the another "O" of "8" , don't worry the pole to be break ,they are very flexible . Thank you agian.
