You can't really take the preseason performance of fields too seriously. He was in for not that much time and those deep passes to moore and mooney were very likely him just wanting to see what the outcome would be if he had to throw it deep. As for those low passes, some were situational except that first one that moore took to the house. I did see a lot of low passes which I dont remember him doing these past seasons. As for Love, he looks like a remade version of arod whether it be his reads or the way he scrambles. Though he might just look good cus of the fact they're playing bums. One thing to note is that Fields had a pretty good passing game on his second game vs green bay. Probably his best one with his only receivers being eq st brown and nkeal harry, who both somehow managed to embarrass jaire alexander.

You can explain it anyway you want to, but it's a lack of arm talent. All receivers need a QB to get them the ball, who is gonna do it consistently for the Bears?

Fields looked horrible in his last PRE SEASON game. Just down right horrible. Not a good look at all. Say what u want but in pre season ur qb should look like Pickett or Love. Handles the time they are in extremely easy.

@@packers12to80 Horrible? All that I saw was him forcing the ball deep to mooney and moore to see what the outcome would be. It was just that and a low pass that turned to a big gain. Nothing much to judge off of.

The Coach and gm likely already know what he's capable of and they were just practicing different situations, whereas pickett is just coming off his rookie season and this will be jordan loves first year as a starter so of course their teams will be trying to see what they can do, which will result in them being in for longer.

@@BURGERLAND-od2bz schedule is easier, Rashan Gary healthy, solid draft class going into their second year on both sides of the ball, QB doesn’t have broken thumb, and I think this team underperformed last year on top of all that. Kenny will face less doubles this year on DL, I could go on and on why I believe this team will be better as long as they stay healthy and Love plays like a top 20 QB I don’t see why they can’t get to 8-9 wins or more. 7 is their floor imo.

@@BURGERLAND-od2bz I’m also not sure where they were gutted. Amos was aweful last year, Lazard was decent, and Rodgers played with a broken thumb and wasn’t all that impressive besides that. I guess I don’t understand “gutted” to be the correct term

You really think that's a scary skilled offensive group? Bears won 3 games last year, they'll be lucky to win 6 this year. And thats only if they double their wins from last year. Only one way up, and for the Bears, that would be straight up. Enjoy the climb.
