Those Fort Apache, and Army play sets are very cool. My dad had both left over from when they were new, and my Gma gave them to me to play with in the 80s. I loved both of them.

That’s a great story! I have never seen them before and I love the 1 inch army style fantasy dfc playsets from the early 80s so these caught my eye right away.. had so many army men as a kid but never any playsets and that makes sense as these pretty much all predate my childhood

Some amazing finds in that store. I saw the Lone Ranger figures @10:41 and need that Butch cavendish!! What a great video!

Something about this vid got me motivated. I just rotated some of my 10” resin statues. Hulk, Ghost Rider, Deadpool and Agent Venom are now on display. Cap and Ironman are going to sleep for a bit. Great vid as per usual bro, thnx for putting in the effort.

Not anything I’ve dived into as an adult obviously but it’s very tempting.. 2nd time seeing the navarone set in two weeks lol. I’d love to find the navarone variant playsets too. Fort Apache has me thinking. I collect the DFC fantasy playsets (basically the first fantasy army men toys released in the early 80s)… it would be sweet to build out a big 1 inch collection!

Yep! Exactly - Ewok village 2.0. I actually think the bola bomber was also reused as well. Some of the best box art on the Sherwood Forest playset, too

50th DND is the way to go! Card art is a direct throwback - can’t ask for more there. It would be cool to get the series 2 cards with “battlematic” on them too. Personally, I want more lost wave stuff! Neca has done this license right IMO.

Bro it’s so funny you say that.. thought the same thing. Had to edit the part out where she basically runs into me then yells “excuse me!!” in my face lol. I was just filming and I do not obviously own the place nor do I ever act like I do when I’m filming stores.. I’m always courteous and cognizant of others but like… the owner as they walked in said politely that someone is filming in here out of courtesy to them really… so we are the only people in the store, she spends zero time on the other side of the aisle and weirdly makes a bee line for my hip lol.. that’s what i love about filming in public - you never know what you’re about to walk into … literally lol
