Great stuff mate, great Polish band. I’ve heard some bad stories about the Distro but I suppose you have to find out for yourself and take people as you find them. I think you’re probably right it people jumping on the “Sketch thing”. Enjoy bud and I will catch you later.

Yeah, I know nothing about the character that operates the distro. Wouldn't doubt that some customers have been screwed over, but I definitely feel like the negativity is overblown by people who've never even so much as browsed the store. Thanks for watching, Gordon. All the best. 🍻

I have bought stuff from Deathrune Records many times and never had a problem. Fuck Discucks go straight to the source. Lower Silesian Stronghold is good for this sort of stuff, in Europe anyway.

Lower Silesian Stronghold is my main go-to. Hassweg and Hammerbund are excellent as well. Glad to hear you've had great experiences with Deathrune.

I was guilty of believing the rumors. I'm gunshy after Pagan War Distro Rex ripped me off a couple years ago. Now that you explained it makes more sense...teenage drama from trustfund socialists. I haven't listened to Selbstmord yet, they have to be good considering who is involved. I'm not bothered about bootleg shirts as long as they are good quality...if the bands are butthurt about it they should make official ones available. Great stuff, cheers Trevor!

Selbstmord fuckin' slays. Some of their stuff is frequently available on HHR and MetalToTheCore1986. Those releases being 'Some Day The Whole World...' demo, and 'Spectre of Hate' full-length. Both great releases. I've heard those same things about Pagan War. Your comment solidifies my stance on me just buying elsewhere. I'm with you on bootlegs as well! Thanks for watching, Scott!

@@FumesofHatred Yup, never trust Pagan War. A few years back I was gonna order then he suddenly jacked up the price way over what he had listed per CD and for shipping. It was over Branikald as I recall. It seemed super shady so I punted the transaction. Then I read a bunch of negative comments afterward about PW.

Deathrune,and down with must high are awesome labels/distro but shipping is super expensive

I actually haven't ordered from Down With Must High. Deathrune's shipping price was fair for what I got. Had I thrown an LP in there, though, that price probably would've been JACKED.

Would you recommend buying from deathrune? I’ve been eyeing their crucifier stuff for a bit I really want a crucifier shirt I’m just a bit worried about shipping

Sorry, hope this comment stays up. You can order from the Weltenfeind shop. That's the official store of Crucifier/Arghoslent/GBK. I haven't had a bad experience with Deathrune, but some have. If you order from there, just keep the quantity of items to a minimum.

@@FumesofHatredalright thanks I’ve actually been ordering from weltenfiend for a bit but I’m branching out looking for other stores.I probably won’t order from them due to some of the comments I’ve seen,Klaxon records has this type of shaky reputation too

My order was made in 2017 or 18 and maybe they have picked up the slack since then, anyway, the communication took weeks and the order arrived 6 months later. If someone else had that experience at some point, I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled out and call it a rip-off.

I think they've improved since then. I do recall some of the legitimate complaints coming from around that time, so I definitely believe it.

Dorkcogs and bandcramp certify 'em so Deathrune is too legit to quit. And yeah the word "racism" has no meaning not only cause it's used so much for no reason, but also cause those using the word are typically the perps. For Dawn of a New Era and No Forgiveness K plays the drums not Diathyrron. I am not sure why, but that's the deal.

Yep. Totally agree with you, man. I forgot to mention K on the drums. Will likely bring that up in another video. Dude crushes it on just about every release he's on. For instance, that new Azelsgard EP. Goddamn bestial.

Yeah, that's where I picked up my cassette version. HHR has the CD. Haha, Thoth is the reason why I said "just about every release". I'm not too keen on that project, either.

@@FumesofHatred I saw the HHR, but probably might order from LSS cause they got the first demo for sale. I too tried to like Thoth, but I just am not a fan of "depressive" black metal. I am checking out a band called Combat right now. Not bad so far. You might like 'em too.
