Honestly as a frequent traveller myself, these tips are genius regardless of age. Lay it out on your bed! Sticky notes for last minute things! I love it.

This video is very helpful! Packing for travel can be quite stressful especially when you are not getting it right. Videos like this really is a great help, one of the first thing that I did in making sure I will be packing right for my travel was choosing the right bag. I found the Nomad Lane Bento bag and it just so perfect for any travel I am having, with the great features of it (a duffle bag that packs like a suitcase, lots of compartments inside, fits under the seat, looks stylish, key leash) since then, packing stress no more. Happy travel everyone!

Thanks for the tips Meg! Avery looks beautiful in her dress. And the laundry bag tip is so helpful I usually use a plastic bag or shove all the clothes in one suitcase and use the second one for the dirty clothes which is pretty unconventional as you can imagine. We will be sure to use these tips for our next trip! ❤️

Tip for flying! ALWAYS keep an extra change of clothes in your carry on! (And bathing suit if you’re gonna be swimming) this has saved my family multiple times! (Airport lost my sisters luggage once and I left mine at the airport at home) but we still had an extra set of clothes and our bathing suits for swimming!

Thank you, someone that mentioned their traveling included their thought to have a case that is for travel where they keep medications and keep a thermometer. The first sign of telling to see if someone is sick is to check the temperature. Another thing I always bring with me is a soft pack of tissues and a soft pack of Kleenex wipes. The Kleenex brand wipes are the best, especially the blue or the green pack, they can be used for messy faces, for sticky hands, for cleaning trays on a plane or in the car, and tissues are just a must, because if someone’s allergies kick in, the ones a hotel provides feel like cardboard, and you want and long for something softer, and to buy on the trip is always an expense.

When I was younger, making lists for what i needed to pack helped. then my mom would come in and I would show her what I had packed, and she would remind me of anything else I needed or things I did not need. But different families have different routines that work for.

I had a trip to Disneyland with just my 6-year-old and me. I organized our outfits by day (yep, down to the undies and jackets!). We had our own suitcases (so we could do carry on) and it was so simple once we got there. I really need to invest in packing cubes to really further my packing skills!

I’m 14 and I’m such a mom when it comes to packing. Before the last laundry before packing (about 1 or 2 weeks before) I will set aside some of my favorite pieces (nice pajamas, nice undies, favorite tops and pants, travel clothes) and tell myself “don’t wear these. We need these when we travel)

Wow, those are some great ideas! I especially like the toiletry idea, just add a little to it here and there. One thing we do is take our unused hotel hygiene items (soap, shampoo, etc.} home, precisely for travel. I hope you had a great time on your trip!
