Tbh, I'd say Melanie's songs are rather artistic than sad, but I can see what your thinking. And her smile makes the song happy, but when she looks like she's frustrated, it's probably not a happy song.

the people you say its dark, sad or creepy, are the people you dont understand the message in her songs. every song has a message and she likes to pass hers in a sort of baby-themed vibe. you ppl that say this about her songs are just ppl who dont understand her so just find something else

But nobody has really found out the truth (i personaly believe she is innocent tho) unless they DID prove she was wrong (looking at other comments saying that)

Raggyfish Theres different ways to do it I believe, But i just add a layer on top of the lines layer, check the "clipping group" option on that new layer, and then color!

peachgelic Yeah I know that haha, but how do you decide what colors to use. I found that using a darker shade of the color being lines makes it look weird. Idk what you do but your lines look so soft and blended in. What colors do you use?

Raggyfish usually, it's a good idea to pick a for the line art color that's a phew shades darker than the color of the insides. and, it all depends on how you want it to look. if you want a warm/fuzzy feeling to the skin, use a red-dark orange color 😊

Yup. But if you're putting a character near the light or in water it's a good tip to use the lighter shade (closer to white) but all in all yes. And no problem, have a nice day! ^^

I'm usually never impressed with art but this is amazing! I love how you lined it! The way you did it makes the drawing look less harsh with the outline!

Noob question, but I've been wondering for a while. How do you change the color of your line art? From black lines to lines that match the objects they're lining. Would have tried to disect it myself by slowing down the video but I'm not familiar with Paint tool SAI.
