My first recording of this piece is far and away my most viewed piece here on KZread • Pachelbel - Canon in D... . Which I find interesting b/c as was noted by at least a couple commenters, it "needs work". I've been wanted to get back to it and record a better version for a while. This still "needs work", but I think it's a more credible effort.

I've been asked in the past to play solo at a few weddings, and one of the brides requested Pachelbel's Canon. I found this arrangement, made a couple of small tweaks for my use on viola. It's a good bit more fun to play than the regular version which is definitely more monotonous.
