If I got a factory radio and have a subwoofer with a lc2i hook up to one speaker will it affect if I install one of these for my 4 door speakers?

Have you heard of a pac lc7-4? My audio store wants to install one and I can’t find it online.

Great info and presentation, this sounds like what I need to get my Atoto android head unit to work in my 07 corvette correctly. When wiring speaker output of the head unit to the PAC RP5-GM11 adapter the output is extremely loud at even the lowest volume level.

Question: I hooked up the lp6-4 like shown and now even with the adjustment screws all the way clockwise it's too quiet. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here or how to fix it?

I have a question, I got a pac lp7-4 and I was just wondering if I needed to hook up all of the speaker wires in my stock radio, or would I just need to splice into the rear speakers

Yo JP, just installed the PAC and I get low sound even at high volume. I removed the PAC and sound went up very minimal…could my car amplifier be bad? I’m installing a JVC KW-R940BTS on a 2000 Saab 9-5 with built in amp.

Nice video, so to be clear. This is the one you would select for the Bose system? Doing an install or a Mazda RX8 with a Bose system. Using an Eonon system and have a few harnesses I can use to modify. Also using a Metra 7510 kit with a module to connect most accessories. Want make sure I have everything needed. Thanks in advance.

Where do you have the remote wire ran to? Some of these come with the remote wire on it but this one does not I have this one but have no clue where to run the power wire.

honestly i only touched the gains on the lp if i get any type of noise coming from the amp or bad feedback usually you dont need to touch them

Hey man great video . I bought a LP7-2 the other day and I’m planning on installing just a mono amp for my subwoofers. Should I tap into the factory subwoofer or should I just tap into the full range speakers in the front ? I honestly think that LOC won’t be able to function with the factory woofer since it’s pushing a lot power than the door speakers .

usually if im going to be installing a sub amp and i am using a loc i would always tap the factory sub wires if the car has them. you want to make sure the signal you catch is what you want to send to the amp. so if you are hooking up a 4ch amp you wouldnt tap sub wires cause from the factory amp only sending lower frequencies to the sub or if your hooking up a sub amp you wouldnt tap the tweeter wires. now if your car didnt have a factory sub than tapping those full range speakers are fine as a matter of fact tapping the full range in your vehicle is fine now as well but you will notice a sound difference.

so this could just tap into factory premium infiniti boss system to add 4 channel amp to make it louder?

Hey man soooo jw the wiring doesn’t explain this so if I has a factory dash that I don’t wanna modify which is why I bought this unit. So some LOC units only have white and grey cords but this has purple and green so with this particular unit are you telling me I gotta tap into allllll 4 doors ? or do I just use white and grey know what I mean? I only have a amp and sub that I wanna add to my factory setup without modifying my dash and my Best Buy only had this LP6-4 unit and this might be a dumb question once I wire everything what side is for the RCA to the amp ? The one that says audio or sub ? Or could you just do a video for people who only wanna do amp + sub add on and not a radio conversion sorry if I sound dumb hahah hard to explain thru message and not type a book

I got a pioneer in the Nissan with the punch amp and sub . still have the Bose amp but speakers sound not so loud?

I have a different problem. I have a Joying Android head unit. It has 4 channel pre-outs. I am installing a 4 channel front stage amp. When I measure the voltage from the RCAs I only get at most .8 volts. Can a 4 channel LOC increase the voltage to an acceptable level? Like 2 or 4 volts? Thanks in advance!

Awesome video! I do have one question tho. Will I be able to add another LOC to my system to add a 4 ch amplifier? I currently have one running off my rear speakers to power my amplifier to my subwoofer. I feel like powering the wire going to my sub amp would mess something up but that’s why I’m here to ask lol I hope to hear from you soon thank you!

you could or what you could do is run 2 y splitters on the front channel of this converter for the 4 channel amp and use the rear for the sub amp

yup you should be able to grab some y splitters and split the left and right audio and run those to the 4 channel. might not be able to fully fade and balance but it will work for sure

My L, R wires (preamp) are so low, you can hear anything, will PAC fix that??

So the JVC doesn’t have RCA outputs ? That’s the only reason I can think for using speaker/ high level out of the aftermarket radio

Hey JP - I got the LP7-4 - got the wiring done - went to the car, plugged them all - I got NO SOUND, NO Power to the LP7-4 - there is a tiny light/indicator on this unit - SHOULD that come on to confirm it has power? I get no sound coming out at all from the unit - yes the unit powers up - the double din unit can navigate and etc..but get NO sound... I just thought of trying to adjust the Gain Controllers on it - I will try this - but if you know of any other reason, this issue has come up, please let me know. I gonna go test the gain control now - fingers crossed!

I got it to work - basically, you need to connect the speaker wires to the speaker's wire from this to the factory amp and the head unit - coming into this item - and going OUT to the AMP - I had it the other way around, also pay attention to the RCA connections to make sure you have the front and right correctly connected - I get sound and all speakers work - but I must say, I have lost alot of volume even though the GAIN controllers are at blast high - The head unit needs to be strong also, I got a cheap after pullout unit for $110 or something -

Hey I am having an issue. I am an Infiniti I30. I was told this was used to get the steering wheel controls to work. I did put a JCV radio and Infiniti is owned by Nissan.

MY MAN!!!!! I have been searching for a video like this for WEEKS. I think you might have answered my question and I wanted to see if you could confirm if I am right or not. So, I bought a car from a car auction and the factory system was sounding real nice so I wanted to splice it up some more. I had no idea that this car had the factory Monsoon System in it until Best Buy told me the wireing harness (interface) I needed was over $100. I was like "say whhaaattt?" So my stuborn ass thought I was going to figure out all of this mess with just the basic wire harness. The sound went to straight garbage. I installed a 4-Channel Gain Adjuster to tune it down. It sounds a lot better but not the same as the factory head unit. My question to you or anyone is: Other than stuff like On Star, Steering Wheel, etc. from what I just did, did I basically do what an interface harness would have done? I'm just curious if I still have to install an interface instead of a harness. Thank you again for the video. I swear, its the only video out there on this topic. I hope someone can answer my question before I cave and buy the interface :)

Yes you could but you would have to split the front channel with y splitters since this is only a 4 channel loc

what? If I want to install an after-market Amplifier to my factory RADIO? is that NOT the other way around, that you replace the head unit, and still be able to use the BOSE or nice factory amplifier? this is confusing - at the start of your video.

Does this apply to Harley Davidson radio too.? I have noise problem. 😅

If my amp already has a Remote and power wired up do I need to install the Power and remote cable from the PAC ?

that can be used for both factory and aftermarket radio

If I wanted music, I would turn on MTV. Take out the music it is distracting. Music doesn't make video any better.
