What I like about you Kevvy is you are not a product snob, i mean you are not afraid to use and review basics from superdrug or primark even omg, good work man.

My shave den consists of two very small drawers in my bathroom. Got enough soap to last 2 years; enough blades to last me 4 1/2 years, a razor to last me a lifetime, a solid marble lathering bowl to last a lifetime, 1 shaving brush to last me likely 5-10 years, and a couple of alum blocks. I will be adding 1 more razor to my den for my birthday in March, bringing my razor collection to 2. Almost forgot - got enough pre-shave to last likely 2-3 years and enough after shave balm to last me about 3 months.

Great brush! Super soft knot and nice, vintage style.

Morning Kevy. Love the PAA products. I don't squeeze that much water out of my brush when using the CK6 soaps. They load up pretty good on the brush. Also beautiful razor. Such a nice shave. Enjoy your day....

So Kevy, the R41 finally arrived here in Canada. I've been using it for about a week now with the advice you were kind enough to share with me about going slow and letting the weight of the razor do the work. No issues and I love it! It's become my daily driver.

This was a first rate, relaxing shave. The lather building gave your face the necessary massage to circulate blood to the surface and promote a relaxing experience. I really enjoyed the extra time you took. It is the proper manner to enjoy wet shaving. Not to mention it also put the new brush through some paces. I have come to admire the Blackbird every time I see it. It has caused me conflict with the Carbon CX-316L. I concur that the ATG pass was singing a chorus of audio feedback! But I digress. Cedrat is hard to beat. I believe you've had it longer than 3 years to be honest. That show go on my wish list as I write this. That vintage Perma-Sharp complete this winning pairing of gear. I would like to see how it fares in the Rocca, and the Carbon. I imagine it will shake your foundations. Stay safe, and keep your Mrs, and RIley healthy.

Man that razor looks like you could drive it somewhere. I’m in a phase of buying everything, having just got back into it. I’ve slowed down on razors though- it feels like I can easily end up with something too aggressive. These days I’m really enjoying my Captain’s Choice Nor’easter soap and proraso green. Great shave today!

Great shave. I’ve been through a short lived soap phase where I bought two Proraso soaps. My next phase could be the brush or blades, whatever happens

Good stuff, Kevy! The Blackbird is one of my top shavers. Once you get used to it, the efficiency is almost addictive. As you were loading soap into the brush I was thinking you would be adding h2o for days! The dunk of the whole knot probably saved you hours. 😉 I immediately thought "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" when you said horizontal elevator. 😁 Cheers! -Rob

I was going to get the Trafalgar T2 next week but after seeing the StarCraft in action you just may have changed my mind. Great shave Kevy. Heard a lot about that razor in our German FB group. Looks really cool! Is it like the Vector in terms of aggressiveness, smoothness and efficiency? Brush looks nice too. At brushes i am in a phase now where i don't buy. I have a couple of boar, Synthetics and badger. every of that works great. Really. I love them. Don't have the feeling i need more now. Razors and Soaps i buy more, here and there... Why your channel is special? It's not the studio in California, it's that actor in the set! Personality and humour is amazing! Stay as u are! 👍🏼 I never skip one of your videos. Always enjoy them! 😊

I loved the lift updown-ways AND side-ways. Gosh...some humour is badly needed Kevy. There are an awful lot of "idiotic" politicians in charge of the show here in England, not a lot better (if not worse) in the States. For sure, lightness and a nice shave are needed. That blade edge has a similar sound to shaverboy razors

A brilliant shave. The razor is very expensive though, 185 bucks.

Great vid Kevy 👍 Razor is a work of art. Talking brushes, can You recommend a good soft synthetic brush with great backbone and good size handle - about 24 knot. That won’t break the bank. That goes out to my fellow viewers as well- just in case Kevy is too busy to be answering all annoying questions 😀

Hi John. The one I used in this video, The StarCraft from PAA would be an ideal brush for you and it's not too expensive. big handle, and the knot has a little bit of backbone, easily enough to create an amazing lather. Kevy 👍

Kevy, explain to me why you have a 24mm brush? The only brush I have at 24mm and under is a Simpson Chubby 1 and (maybe it’s me, I don’t know) I find absolutely useless. Most of mine are 28mm and over and work better for me. Keep up the great work.

Hi mate, how aggressive would you say these are in Vintage Gillette terms? I’d like to buy a Blackland razor, but don’t want to spent the large sum of money on something too aggressive.

Its a very efficient razor with some blade feel. If the R41 is 10/10 for aggression, i would say the Blackbird is 7/10. Kevy 👍

Hello sir! Great video once again! I'm about to get my first DE safety razor but I can't decide between the Parker 91R or the Fatip Testina Gentile (both closed comb). If you were to choose one of those two which one would you go for if you don't mind me asking?

I would go for the Parker 91R. Fatip razors can be aggressive and sometimes its difficult to get the blade lined up properly in some of their razors. Kevy 👍
