I've been using the Proraso white pre shave for about two weeks. It has improved razor burn on my neck. I just bought the Red, as I wanted something without menthol. Beautiful razor. Thanks for another great video.

It was a very aggressive shave. I did enjoy it but it keeps you on your toes shaving with it. Need to be very careful.

Another great video. I own a Shone that is made in the same factory as this Fatip. It is also aggressive. If I have 2 or more days of growth, this is my go to and I do use a very light touch to get a close comfortable shave. It’s not the kind of razor to scrape your skin everyday for sure but I do love Fatips and Schrone razors. Thanks for another enjoyable video!

I love the Fatip Grande. $30 for an all brass razor, it's one of the best deals you can find for new DE razors. It teaches you good technique as well. A good balance of aggression and smoothness. The open comb also makes it a great razor to shave a multi-week beard with.

3 passes with a Fatip first use, nice going Kevy ! It's definitely been the case for me that switching between a few DEs and a couple of shavettes has made me improve my overall technique, it seems to be the same for you :) Thank heavens for Google, I had no idea what a laldy was.

Nice one, I used to describe the razor as a 'fat tip' until I was informed (by an Italian) that it is pronounced 'far teep'. Keep up with excellent videos.

Jeremy Vuozzo Hi Jeremy. I think you'll like it. It is a little bit aggressive. But as has been said before by lots of people, if you take your time and stick to the no pressure on the razor, I'm sure you'll be fine. Maybe try a milder blade in it to start with until you - and your skin - get used to it. It's a lovely, well made and well balanced razor to use. Good luck with it and please let me know how what you think of it. Cheers. Kevy 👍

Kevy I received the razor Monday and used it today. I put a Voskhod blade used once. I used Pre de Province soap. Not a bad shave. I have some irritation on my neck but I didn't wait a full two days between shaves so that's typical for me. The Fatip is not as aggressive as I expected; very nice and I will try it again in a couple of days. Thanks. Jeremy

Jeremy Vuozzo Nice one Jeremy. I'm glad to hear your liking it so far. It isn't as scary as other razors. Just take your time with it until your more confident using it. Cheers. Kevy 😀

What version of the head does the razor have? If it has a logo stamped in the back of the bottom plate then it's the V2, the latest and more mild than the V1 which was replaced by late 2015. Thanks.

The head on my razor has nothing stamped on it. I guess that makes it a V1? Cheers for the info. Kevy.

Kevy Shaves, Thank you for the clarification. I got the info from here m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/iJ6X2tCpqcfQfrw.html I just ordered one and most likely it'll be the V2 BUT if I crave for more aggressiveness, to approach the V1 or even Muhle R41 2011, I can shim it( if not familiar with the term you can search it on KZread - there are a few videos about doing it from different materials even a credit card and that applies to 2 and 3 piece razors). Have a good day, sir. Cheers.
