You absolutely killed it. I love your videos. I live in Pike County and fish some of the same areas, but I don't catch nearly as many fish. I got three wild browns opening day in the gorge. Beautiful place once you get past the homeless camps.

I appreciate the kind words!! All you can do is just keep getting after it, watching those KZread tutorials, and continue to practice new methods and techniques! I never thought I’d get into fly fishing, but after the first month of doing it, I absolutely love it!

Are you talking about the gorge in East Stroudsburg? Are there still a lot of homeless people down there?

@Trevor Frey There are about 6 tents and at least a ton of garbage. It's absolutely disgusting. Looks like a garbage dump. I can't believe they allow people to destroy such a beautiful place. I get that people have no place to go, but the garbage is unbelievable.

@chr103yod I was down there Maybe 2 years ago. I think I saw maybe one tent but it was abandoned. Where exactly are they camping? I was going to fish down there with my brother in law next week and I would like to avoid that if possible.

Nice golden! I caught a 23" rainbow there near Wehr's Dam, and 21 other trout to go with it, but yes I too caught alot of dinks on Opening Day. When it rained, I really caught fish, after the rain nothing. If you get the morning call newspaper, I am the guy in the middle of the front page.

@@outdoortechpa I will probably be fishing Jordan on Wednesday, will try to be there for daybreak. If you wanted to tag along I will probably be starting at Trexler

Hey Joe, I did fish Jordan today, but 10 of my 14 fish were 8 or 9 inches. I fished downstream from that stocking point below trexler, caught a 3 pound bass and an 18inch sucker, but no trout between there and the next downstream bridge. Then fished where I caught them on opening day, and caught them. That is one of a couple holes with fish. Take your fly rod to fish that, as fish are rising like crazy in there, and you'll see fins popping out of the water every so often.

The morning especially was very challenging with the rain coming down hard the bite stopped (only caught 4 trout like the first 20 minutes), however once it got a little sunny in the afternoon I finally started to get into them at another creek before the high winds came during the evening!

Haha maybe I’ll try it further down the line, but I always just enjoy catching and releasing! But if a trout gets away from me I’ll give it a go!
