IPS rightly deserved. Educating people while performing duties. We should Remember. Our Rights are " Fundamental" and Not Absolute. And Reasonable Restrictions can be imposed on Fundamental Rights. With our half knowledge we cannot be fighting for our rights.

We have 6 Rights under Right to Freedom and each has different grounds on the imposition of restrictions, namely : 1. Sovereignty and integrity of India 2. Security of the state 3. Public Order (it is on this ground that the IPS in this Video has asked the crowd to get permission first then assemble, not assemble first and then seek for permission.) 4. Decency and Morality 5. Defamation 6. Incitement to an Offence 7.Friendly Relations with foreign states 8. In the interest of General Public 9. Protection of the interest of any ST In the Narendra Kumar v. Union case, The supreme Court has also asserted that Reasonableness includes total Prohibition. We should interpret our constitution in accordance to the Philosophy of our constitution. We cannot interpret if however we want, or conveniently Not choose to read or make ourselves unaware of certain parts and pick out what fits us and our actions. Please read them in toto.

Article 19 of the Indian constitution mentions six freedoms that are available to the citizens of India: (a) Freedom of speech and expression (b) Freedom to assemble peacefully and without arms (c) Freedom to form Associations and Unions (d) Freedom to move freely throughout the territory of India (e) Freedom to reside and settle in any part of India (f) Freedom to practice any profession or to carry on any occupation, trade or business. The Right to Freedom you are talking about Is an Umbrella of 6 other rights.
