All this talk about bloodbaths, carnages, all this talk about fascism, about fellow human beings being "threats to democracy", all these dog whistles and demonization of immigrants or church going people, all this talk about "rinos" and "dinos" and the devastatingly damaging false notion that if you are not extreme in your political positions you sold yourself to the other side, or to the "establishment" or "big business" or "deep state" or "the bankers" - all this has to stop, it has to stop. It has to fuckin stop. I pray for the return of times when we used to have two centrist candidates for President - one leaning liberal, the other leaning conservative, but both moderate, respectful, eloquent politicians, family people, law abiding and upstanding citizens and human beings. It's been more than 10 years since we last had that. I hope these times will come again.

This could have been avoided had the Pa police and the SS listened to the group of guys having a party across the street and told them there was a man with an assault weapon and they didn't listen or do anything yet they saw him. How awful the guy was interviewed so much and your excusing this. No excuses you failed Trump and innocent people @ABC News

How can it be that the alleged shooter was outside of the area of the rally if: A Secret Service (SS) agent reportedly saw another rooftop clearly and rally audience members were able to enter the area where the shooter allegedly was located? If the SS agent was monitoring the situation for a solid 10 minutes, why did they only react after the fact? Why did bystanders claim to have seen a man with a rifle, yet these reports were seemingly ignored? It's worth noting that if someone were to report a person walking around in public with an AR-15 rifle, it's likely that law enforcement would respond quickly to the scene. This raises questions about why there seemed to be a delay in responding to these reports at the rally

My brother is a PA police officer. And he was at that rally. They do not suck. They were not prepared properly. Thanks for being such an intelligent well informed person though😅 let's hope you never need help in PA my friend.

Don’t say “minor or major” - just say what the injury was. You don’t know what caused the injury - so don’t pretend to Journalism isn’t hard - integrity isn’t hard
