P253 Kumo Shibori (Spider Webs) Tie-dye Pattern
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Kumo is japanese for "spider" or "cloud" depending on the context.
Start by folding the shirt on itself a few times. This creates lines of symmetry.
Proceed by tying the fabric into knobs. Pinch off the side of the folded shirt and apply a rubber band. Continue making knobs while alternating between both sides of the shirt.
Use this technique to create webs or "spider clouds".

What a fantastic design! I have never seen a Tie dye done like that before. Thanks so much for introducing a new method to all of us. Very creative! Looking forward to your next video!
yay you're back!
Glad to see you’re back! Great shirt!
Whoa! Awesome. The tie-dye king is back at it again!
Welcome back ! And very cool design!
What a weird coincidence. I feel like it’s been forever since you last posted a video and you just happened to post this video on the day I just happened to wear my old tie dyed shirt for the first time in a looooong time…
The T-shirt turned out beautiful. The shirt when folded and the rubber bands were on it looked like a caterpillar.
Oh man, I’m so glad you’re still posting, I looked at your channel the other day and saw you hadn’t had any new videos recently, I feared the worst. I hope you’re doing well and stuff. And the shirt turned out awesome too :)
Shirt looks fantastic with all that time that you took off I’m hoping to see a lot of new stuff coming our way hope everything is well with you thanks for sharing✌️
I love kumo shibori. I have been doing this style for about 10 years but I use thread. Beautiful shirt, btw. Glad you're back. Thanks for sharing:)
I like that design a lot! 👍🏼

Love that!!!❤️
We missed your art!! Hope you have been good and happy! 💝✌️ This onenturned out so cool! What if you tie it on an angle, so the pattern is oblique lined
it looks cool c:
Nice to sorta see you 😉
I just did a shirt like this, given my inspiration by you. I think it turned out pretty well, not as good as yours but I’m pretty pleased
Linda aaaaaaaammmmmeeeeiiii!!! 1🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Maybe a silly question, is it possible to do that tie with a rainbow pattern? So it's like a bunch of tiny rainbows?
😯😯😯wow
😍
👍
So that is why you have been gone. Tie dye is usually a summer thing (when jt is warm and you can do it outside)
Do you also do shibori on cotton fabric that be used for sewing clothing quilts, etc? It's difficult to find unique patterns on fabric for sale.
Can you also use sinew?
Did you let the shirt sit overnight before washing it with water?
Is it prusian colour?
Do you go to school for this
