@@thatfishguy4991my guess is because Freddy’s dream world is so intensive on particles and stuff they just didn’t want it all to be too much. Nightfall is basically just reduced vision and the white auras.

Freddy is disabled for two reasons: 1. His nightmare realm brightens the map for everyone, himself included. 2. The invisibility is roughly the exact range of the vision radius.

In my own headcannon, this is the Dredge game mode. It’s if the dredge was strong enough to control the trials like the entity

I will say that legion with this game mode is super fun, they barely see you coming so getting four hits especially on one of the smaller maps available is pretty easy, had a blast with this game mode

Seems like they’re starting with simpler game modes obviously before starting to work on ones like 2v8 and flipped perspective

I thought it was fun, I got jump scared by the Xenomorph Queen and Nemesis, and jump scared survivors as Knight, Myers, and Skull Merchant. It was fun.

as a survivor, this mode is far more challenging in another level. You can barely sees where is the gens and how many are left to repair in the map.

@@chals1117 That's not what I experienced, whenever nightfall happened it became too dark to play the game. I couldn't see a wall that I was walking face first into.

We did have something similar to this before. The moon bouquet offerings could basically create this same environment. :)

what settings do you use to play dbd? (launch options game settings sens and dpi)

i'd love to see you actively trying to scare people, hit someone and than just leave them only to come back from a different angle or just stalk people in the dark, i think that would be fun to watch

As a fellow 2500 hours P100 Dredge main I approve this mode :) Plays into the strength of Dredge. Before this mode I identified the map layout, dead zones and loops by using my ability at the start of match without even being there.

Dredge is beyond busted in this game mode. When I go against dredge I give up cause it isn’t fun it’s beyond cheap. He makes it pitch black for survivors, and he can see your aura while you can’t see 1 foot infront of you it’s so dumb. I think dredge should have been disabled for this event too.

My first match in I faced Dredge. Nightfall is so scary and you barely see anything. Had to use a flashlight for its conventional use. Lmao

As a myers enjoyer they never see it coming on this mode lol i love to pop out of the darkness to scare everyone

I feel like there are 2 ways this will go forward. One it will take like 8 months for another gamemode that's hopefully good but there's still a chance that it's bad. And two there will be about a 25-48% chance they will listen and make better gamemodes

Do you have a point that the game mode is lazy? Yes. Is that a reason not to support it? No. We should still support it to show them that although this is only a small step forward, it’s still exciting. For now we should show enthusiasm simply because it’s a new mode for the first time in 8 years. If the next one is lazy then we should boycott, but as a trial run for new modes, this gets the job done and should be celebrated
