Good video. We have a 2005 LLY with 200k and the code is intermittent. I used to work with the Garrett guys at Honeywell ( who bought Garrett). The remanufactured by Garrett needs to be verified.

I have a similar issue. I also have been thinking of getting a reader programmer to have a clear understanding of issues and abilty to clear them. I'll use your experience and not waste my $ on new cheaper switches and just replace the turbo. I appreciate your info

My Truck lost power within 10 miles of filling up with fuel and it progressively got worse, but there was no water in the separator. It would hardly drain.

Did your truck smoke or were there any other signs of the Turbo being bad that I need to look for?

My 2004 LLY just turned 300,000 miles and so to celebrate he gave me the P2563 code. I don't drive this truck daily and so shut off the batteries when I park it. Sometimes I will use the truck for some work and right away get a code that does not come back I assume because the power is off for extended durations. But the P2563 will come back every third engine start so it appears to be a real issue. Is there any thoughts you would share after making this video?

To summarize; when I first bought the truck I was surprised how slow it accelerated and didn't want to go over 2000rmp unless towing. After about 300 miles I got the check engine lights referring to the turbo. After turbo replacement, truck overall sounds and runs better. I was relieved that the truck truly did operate how I imagined it should. If you do proceed with the turbo replacement, everyone brings up the fact of how difficult it is to loosen the bolts on the downpipe off the turbo. Hope this helps!

Not totally sure to be honest. If it did need to be relearned, then the shop did it
