To me what made Venomous and Boxman work in the series was even know Boxman felt like a outcast and seen as a joke by the villain despite trying to get their approval Venomous was the only one who saw Boxman potential and knew he had what it took to be a villain which is a realistic as your seen as a joke by others but respected and admired by someone else but the message with Boxman is you cant please everyone and know that there people who still care and respect you

It would have been cool if they could have had Boxman realize that and do the same for Shadowy Venomous, the way they tell TKO he's loved and appreciated. I was very upset by the overall lack of Boxman throughout the series, to be honest. He has clips here and there but really only a handful of episodes.

@@SupHapCak to me the point of Boxman was meant to show what KO life would've been like had he try to get his friends approval for the wrong reasons as the two are almost alike but follow a path with Boxman wanting to be notice as a villain and get respect well Ko got the respect and being seen by others as a hero by doing the right thing and never doing it by being a approval seeker

The best part is that they don't SPELL OUT the concepts of homosexuality to kids watching the show, this is how more gay relationships should be treated, two completely usual characters having cute/nice moments together independently of their gender makes the viewer understand, even if through the underlying themes of the series, as they're both villains, that they're also both still human to a large capacity, Boxman and Venomous BOTH have a really happy ending!! Which is amazing to see, in the past a gay villain would have died or somethin lol.

Boxman and Venomous have done the most difficult and rare thing any villian has ever done in history. They made a friend they can trust. This is something not only rare for bad guys, but rare for people in general. Especially in reality. To have someone you can trust, who understands you and you know won't stab you in the back or leave you; that values you for who you are, is the most precious thing in the world !

Somebody else thinks that "destroy the plaza" thing they do seems like a metaphor for sex? My evidence: 1- The dinner episode: Here you have some fancy dinner that ends with Venomous noticing Boxman as some kind of Rambo and joins him on the "destruction" 2- The party episode: They go for a party they dance they drink and then... DESTROY. 3- Living together episode: When Boxman destroys Venomous Lair and they go for "destroying the plaza" they end talking to one another side to side about starting their "partnership" -wink wink- 4- The get-along scene: Well... Just look how they react to "Destroy the plaza" For me is quite ovbious they have a "something" for destruction but behind the context is noted that these 2 talk about "smashing" but not the plaza

Ngl I’d have some serious mixed emotions about Venomous if I was K. O. Like how Steven saw Rose, cause Not only do you find out he’s your dad after him and his coworker (at the time) tried to kill you multiple times, his evil-er alter ego manipulated you twice to become evil, he even managed to make your evil self kill just about everyone you knew and then he gets married to the person that has and still continued to try and destroy you and the place you work at for years. Idk. I’m glad they’re happy in the end but at the same time, I’d have some mixed feelings about that

2:10 I've seen very few shows that go to the extent of really developing bonds between characters through body language, that's why I consider this scene to be an incredibly refreshing take on character relationships, I've never seen the show but this couple is just- top-notch display of progressive bonding, and I'm here for it

there are no platonic explanations for anything they do together in this show

according to Toby Jones on Twitter aka like one of the writers they became a loving couple but they broke up in Dendy's Video channel aka the episode where Shadowy Venomous kicks out boxman so yeah they were together for like a chunk of the show (and they got married oh my god yes)

Boxman is such a cartoon villain type that it's painful to hear him say something like what he said when he had to break up with Venomous. He really didn't want to. He was happy. He wanted a family. But Venomous became abusive, like, seriously. It was a real "oh god no" moment when shadowy venomous happened and the camera moved over to Boxman next door, having to deal with it. Pretty sure you could hear my heart break, especially since he was even trying to act like a stepdad towards K.O. I'm glad they fixed things though, at least Venomous and Boxman did end up getting the family they wanted.

I'm so glad when they made up though. and it just shows on how much these two went through together and they got married in the end.

somehow even tho at the finale it turned out venomous like betrayed boxman, they end up making up when pv gives him flowers and then they get married and its so CUTE boxman is an awesome villain

Venomous not even ONCE tried to reconcile with his old girlfriend - K.O.'s mother. Guess after her words he heard when she believed him gone, he considered her and any other hero not worthy of his time (maybe except his son). Venomous really is a rare case of former hero, who embraced his villainy so much, that he won't quit it willingly , even for his loved ones, because in fact he loves more being bad than good (although it won't stop him from wanting some time with his good son). The other example I know is Shego from Kim Possible.
