Best ever ship in my opinion. My mum (dead) went out one final time to her resting destination on this ship. Very special memories.😢

Great video. I so miss her. She was such a superb ship. I was on board her last commercial rvoyage a week after you filmed this I believe on 27 February 2002, so we just missed each other. It was supposed to be her last crossing, however due to delay with the refit of Norsea she made one final sail back to Hull on 28 March 2002. Onboard her last voyage were many former crew, former para troopers and Sir Rex Hunt the former governor of the Falklands. I ended up sitting with her new Italian Crew on the return sailing back to Hull. They noticed I was traveling alone after the bar shut at 1am. I invited over and was up all night drinking my way through a case of Martini they brought with them, one of them was to be her new captain. It was worth the sore head the following morning. I certainly gave her a send off. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see her once again... When she sailed from Hull for the final time with Rex Hunt and ex-Paras aboard, the entire family was taken by my Dad to Paull in the car and watched her steaming by. Dad was not a sentimental type, but he knew his morse very well and used the headlights to signal "Goodbye and Good Luck" and to his dying day swore up and down he got "Thanks... Sorry To Leave" in return as she swung round towards Immingham. I know somebody saw it because there was a mornful blast of the horn just after
