দেশের সবচেয়ে বড় শিল্পাঞ্চল চট্টগ্রামের মিরসরাই বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব শিল্পনগরে যেতে আগ্রহী নন তৈরি পোশাক কারখানার মালিকরা। তাদের অভিযোগ, সেখানে অবকাঠমোগত সুযোগ-সুবিধার অভাব রয়েছে। অথচ, এই নগরে ৫শ’ একর জুড়ে গার্মেন্টস পল্লী গড়ে তোলার পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে ‘বেজা’র। তবে এখন পর্যন্ত মাত্র ৪১ টি কারখানা মালিক জমি ইজারা নিয়েছেন। এর আগে সেখানে কারখানা স্থাপনের জন্য বিজিএমইএ এবং বিকেএমইএ’র সঙ্গে আলাদা চুক্তি করে ‘বেজা’।
