Also Echidna hates Satella if you forgot, so about Roswaal - no! Roswaal using Book of Wisdom uses Subaru to achieve his main goal... And Echidna is dead so there's no way that she can interact with outside world, so about "Echidna summoned Subaru" you can forgot immediately, plus it doesn't make sense

@@okeeguguru Thats disappointing because it misses the entire point. Subaru is extremely flawed and reckless. He was shown to be extremely spontaneous and having no filter whatsoever. So it makes sense that he would act like an idiot. He wasn’t even acting THAT stupid. And him choosing Emilia is his choice to make. Even Rem knew he was gonna do it. Idk if you watch other react channels but some other ones STILL hate Subaru. Even up until his backstory. Thats so fucked man. Its really sad because it shows that people just want a perfect protagonist with no flaws

Episode 15 is one of if not the saddest anime episodes I’ve ever seen. Just seeing how Subaru loses everything and he just gives up, wandering aimlessly back to the mansion with nowhere else to go. I don’t know many people who could come back from something like that.

I have watched well over a hundred anime, thus having seen thousands of episodes, but episode 15 still stands among the top as my 2nd favorite anime episode, right after Steins Gate EP 22. This show always gave me WTF moment but I could mostly express them, then this episode comes along and when the end credits started to roll I just sat on my desk, jaw opened up to the floor not making a sound except for breathing. This was one of the most mindblowing experiences I ever had and what made Re Zero one of my favorite animes. The only other thing so far that I can think of that is as mindblowing as this is the reveal of Gintoki's backstory in Gintama episode 305; this was truely perfection....

Ln reader here, I’ll explain : basically, Petelguese is gatekeeping insanity. It’s weird, but he is. Subaru definitely lost his mind - he’s constantly referred to ‘madman wearing Natsuki Subaru’s flesh’ throughout the process of the loop where he breaks, as well as described to be ‘living between dreams and reality’. However , there is one thing. Subaru COULD break free from his insanity if he truly wanted to, but he was preventing himself on a subconscious level, because he thought he truly completely lose his mind if he did so. That’s why he started coming back when Rem sacrificed herself for him. Also why he kept chanting ‘I’ll kill you.’ He was using his rage against petelguese to keep himself from going insane, which is also why he acts so rashly the next loop - his rage is keeping him from breaking.

@@marcokalendileo7849 no. Subaru HAS gone crazy. It’s just that his madness is nothing compared to Petelguese’s, which is so far gone. Tappei has confirmed this in an interview as well

Rem can heal herself to a certain degree after being heavily wounded, especially as a demon. So even after her neck and arms got twisted up she was able to move after healing up.

Lupas reaction and little punch at 24:15 is just brilliant, as if hes trying to punch the monster in the show xD !

The Most GANGSTA Episode xDD Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti just brings that energy with him bruh

Watching this episode again reminds me why Rem is always Best Girl.

Damn that ending was what Evangelion keep trying to do. That was a work of art and I can't tell if it's just in the directing or the character development/plot. Everything was hitting at that ending visual and music with the bloody credits in the snow..... You thought you chose violence, they were bout that life on this episode. I'd say Evangelion did a great job too, but this looked like some lovecraftian shit, Re:zero had some low points, but this was the first time we saw the real re:zero. I think this episodes ending is so perfectly directed just because of that ending scene. When Subaru gets killed and those credits come up, you usually see those at the end of a damn movie or something, like THE END. But its really not the end.

I think everybody has done this at one point or another. They act as if they're the most pitiful person on earth to bring out the sympathy of others. It's not a new concept. Homeless people have done this since the beginning of civilization. A lot of people nowadays convince themselves that they are helpless and frail when they really need to just stop whining and do something about their problems, otherwise nothing will change. I think that's the message they are trying to convey. Subaru has fooled himself into a fake "madness."

I actually don't even know what I'd see as the craziest ending, this one here is probably the most mindblowing one, but there are so many, like SPOILERS obviously Subaru getting possessed; the bunnys; "I love you"; Yandemilia (I love this nickname, picked it up in a random comment when Emilia losing her mind first aired);

Y’all, I decided to watch this show while I was on a treadmill at the gym. When I got to episode 15, I had to stop jogging when the scene in the cave happened. Not gonna lie, great show, but it gives you a hell of a time if you aren’t careful. Looking forward to this next one. It’s gonna get you bad. :)

Re-Zero really is a mind blowing anime it has a lot thinking to it which makes it so great.

About a year ago, when my brother first saw this particular episode, he told me how empty and sad he felt. When I watched it with him a few months later, I told him that I felt nothing and that he was a wimp. Boy, did I eat my words when episode 23 rolled around.
