Tone is absolutely spot on. Tuning is perfect. This may be the best guitar cover I’ve seen so far on here.

Top work mate. Yeah, in the studio he tuned the bottom two strings up but who needs that faff at gigs ? 😂 The way you play it is the way I learnt it years ago by ear.

WOW this tone is spot on, and you've nailed it. In a blind listening test, I'd think this was the original song isolated with no vocals. Have you sent this to Jake E Lee in any way? I think he'd appreciate seeing this.

A friend send this to Greg Chaisson who I believe forwarded it to Jake's wife. Don't know if it ever made it to Jake though.

randy is without a doubt the most iconic ozzy guitarist but man what a talent jake was they were so dumb to can him and replace him with zack even though i love zack his playing is no where near the intricacy of jakes stuff

Great job! I'm trying to learn this based off your fingering. The thumb-over technique for this in standard tuning is pretty managable in the chorus. But damn is it ever tough in the verse with the lower palm muted phrase between repetitions where you have to jump back up to the 7th fret after :( but I think I'm getting close. Thanks for your help!

Yeah Jake uses his ring finger for the one with 5th fret D string and when it switches to 4th fret he doesn't play anything on the low E string but rather just plays the D string. I don't know if you understood any of that but I hope it helped.

I've noticed some people play the main riff using Bb as the pedal note and you're playing Ab. Won't it Clash with the Bass playing Bb ?

You can hear that the pedal note doesn't switch in the studio version so that's how I play it as well.

Tabs? He's playing it right in your FACE. You could create the tabs yourself by watching the video. If you can't play it from watching him, then it's out of your league and tabs aren't going to be much help anyways. So much to unpack here...
