DIARY OF A MADMAN is one of my favorite ozzy tunes. Now you will learn about a GOAT guitarist named Randy Rhodes. Sadly he passed way too young from a plane crash. Ozzy was never the same.

Randy was classically trained and taught guitar. When on tour at every stop he would take lessons to learn new things.I don't think ozzy would have been no where as big after Black Sabbath without Rhoades.

Definitely, do the whole album! Also, diary of a madman.preachers used to boycott him over 'suicide solution ' and' mr. Crowley ' just because of the title. Miracle man is a great song about a certain TV evangelist. He also does a cover of purple Haze and staying Alive.

I bought this album in 1980. In Norway. I was 15. So great experience. I was a Black Sabbath fan then. I never forget when I lied down on the sofa with the album cover and started to listening to this. A good memory. :) Thank you! :)

For me, there are 5 outstanding tracks on this album: this one,, "Crazy Train", 'Suicide Solution", "Mr, Crowley" and "Revelation/Mother Earth" Similarly 4 or 5 on the next album, "Diary of a Madman". RIP the late, great Randy Rhoads on guitar on these two albums. I always thought "Down To Earth" was a much underrated Ozzy album too.

This album was Ozzy's comeback. He was fired from Black Sabbath for excessive drug and alcohol consumption. Then he had to start all over again. His blessing was Randy Rhoads who played all this amazing guitar stuff and this album opened the door for Ozzy's second coming as a solo artist.Sadly Randy only played on this album and 'Diary of a madman' before his untimely death...those two records are Ozzy's best.On this album check out 'suicide solution' which is a tribute to Ozzy's friend Bon Scott(singer of AC/DC)who died of alcohol poisoning.

Yo biz it’s been a minute. Dude when thi s came out. Ozzy was at his craziest. When he came to San Antonio on this tour. He was arrested for pissing on a monument at the Alamo. He bonded out made the show (drunk). Sold out. We broke windows at arena to sneak in. It was a blast. I was a teenager. Ozzy was banned from San Antonio after that. He did come back in 90 s but at a county venue. City wasn’t trying to hear it haha.

Most of "Ozzy's lyrics" were not written by Ozzy: Bob Daisley, the great bass player on this track, wrote the lyrics for most of Ozzy's early solo career. And 90%+ of Black Sabbath lyrics in the 1970s were written by bassist Geezer Butler.

Wouldn't bother me none to hear the whole album. Diary of a Madman and Bark at the Moon would work. Seems like this was right after Ozzy was born again. And there are a couple lines that reference faith. I hesitate to talk religion or politics. But I am highly opinionated and vocal and have been for decades. Just this isn't that format. But I won't hesitate to plant seeds. If you're curious about what is playing out and what will likely come next, read Matthew 24. It's Jesus describing the events in order starting from a couple years ago. Then Read the Albert Pike letter. That would be from the other side. Ignore Google's disinformation campaign on it. I knew about it in the early '70s. That letter describes how and where they would engineer the first and second World War and how World War III would come about and who would be used to carry out the heinous acts. As they Implement their One World Animal Farm. And most of my generation appreciated these highly talented musicians exposing and enlightening. Enough said. From now on I'll keep it to the music. Now back to work. ✌️ 🤠🐂🏞️
