@@patkelly3966 Not sure of the exact date but this line-up ran from late 90's through early 2000's.

John,Zia and Seaweed brought agreat vibe to the Ozrics.Zia with his driveing bass (with-out an ego in sight).John with his many flute's and of course Seaweed who appear's to give it his all.

.....and its well that John and Zia are smiling happily towards song end......delivering a top class live performance of a technically demanding and transcendal song like this is some feat.....

Imagine,going to a gig to see Ozric Tentacles,Gong"with" Steve Hillage, and Hawkwind in one night ? My 67 year old head would probably explode,but I don't care, I've had a good lfe. A couple of snakebites and a cup of mmmmushroom tea might make me a survivor.🤯

Saw them in nyc 28 years ago and they were amazing...able to stand 4 feet from the stage and witness everything

This group of people, in my opinion, are the best lineup of the Ozric Tentacles band. Some people will say that Merv Pepler has to be on the drums, but I don't think that is necessarily true. And I really like the flutes of Jon, and nobody needs to say anything about Ed. He is Ozric Tentacles all by himself, but without him the band wouldn't have existed.

Bad ass! I saw this line up of Ozric back in 1999 at the Aggie in Fort Collins, CO! They killed it!

I was there as well. Phenomenal show. I saw them another time here in the Fort with Brandy on bass and their son on keys.

At this gig so was Spod (Allan Spod on Facebook) with Rich Montgomery, Birdyhop etc. All from the old forum days. Remember the solo towards the end of the track. Other gigs I went to it went on for even longer!! Just so beautiful.

Last I knew Jon a.k.a. Champignon, ead with a band called Dream Machine. pretty killer stuff and i know one release I have also includes Seaweed.

shame this line up is over. Not a fan of their latest (TOTS) but great back catalogue.

Shame John & Zia arnt still in the band, the last couple of albums have been tame without them & the music really misses the flute.

Ozrics are still ace, but this is the best line up.
