Ozarks on the Fly | EP 1 | HOME WATERS
The first installment of OZARKS ON THE FLY takes you to the small, secluded streams of southwest Missouri which are abundant with Neosho-strain smallmouth bass. There you’ll get a taste of what life is really like in God’s country, aka Newton County. Visit fishing guide Josh Trammell on his farm and local fisheries in HOME WATERS: The Good Life in SW Missouri. #BluffLineMedia #OzarksontheFly

Good people!
This so cleanly shot and well edited. You can tell you know what you’re doing. I can only hope my upcoming videos on my page are this clean. My goal is to post twice a month this year. Subscribe if you want to follow along as I try to catch multiple species on the fly.
Typical format for another over-produced fly-fishing video: First thing we notice is the high quality thumbnail of crystal clear waters, letting us know right from the start what kind of video this was going to be before hitting the play button. 1. Typical backcountry bluegrass-type music to start. 2. Videos of sunrise over beautifully colored landscapes. 3. A lame cut-and-paste life story of someone growing up and how awesome the fishing life is, but not yet showing their face 4. After about 10 more seconds of talking we get the face of a dude leaning up against a barn or tractor. 5. And finally the cherry on top, the icing on the cake - the slow-motion falsecast. Never a roll cast or a sloppy attempt at an upstream mend... A perfectly timed false cast. Two years later and they’re still making videos with the same antiquated format.
