We didn’t have any heavy rain yet, but I did notice that the seams were factory sealed. And I do plan to apply water - proofing spray as a added layer of protection. We did have some really high winds though! And it did great. All the poles are steel rather than fiberglass, which makes it feel a lot sturdier in my opinion.

You are like me even though it's a tent I want that homey feeling too. I have the Ozark Trail 3 person tent. Really only one can sleep comfortably in it. I bought a blow up mattress in it. A nice quilt over that but, I do sleep in a sleeping bag when it's colder out. I like my space to be clean, tidy and neat. I have a small battery operated fan as well as it's rechargeable too. A latern. I am a novice camper just getting started. I really am enjoying it. Loved your tent set up. Gave me some great ideas. You set it up to be so cozy and comfortable. To some it's just a tent but, to me it's my home away from home. I like it clean and in order. Great video. Enjoyed the tour. Happy camping to you and yours.

Hi there! And thank you! This campground had hot showers for us to use. But when we camp at campgrounds without showers, we bring our camp shower, and hang it in the bathroom. I think this tent would work well for an electric wheel chair , but you’d have to be cautious going over the areas on the floor that are slightly raised where the kitchen and main area is divided.

My husband and I have been glamping long before the word was created. We tent camp off peak in typically colder damp conditions in the state and national parks in mostly the mountains. We stay at the least amenity, non tourist style family campgrounds in the woods. Having comforts of home, a coffee press, a camp toilet, stove etc is what makes our week to 3 week camping trips that much more enjoyable. After hiking up and down a mountain getting soaked in an unexpected thunderstorm , wet and dirty it's nice to be able to come back to camp, dry off with a clean towel , warm up with dry clothes, make a cup of hot coffee or pour a glass of wine and cozy up in our camp chairs by the roaring fire. We chop our own wood we gather from fallen trees that we haul back to camp, cook our meals over the open fire, usually with the forested park to ourselves, then go to bed in our cozy airbed or camp cot.... and no bodies gonna tell me that's not camping. I've got the callouses , bug bites and blisters to prove it.
