I've been following Oz since his Born to Perform. Truly an inspiration love to see him blowing minds on TV! He needs a a streaming show man.

I've seen him do this trick several times now but never thought "what card would I pick?". So I just thought to myself, I'd probably pick the ace of spades. It's not like a hard one, but there's 52 cards in the deck, what are the chances? There has to be something he's doing to subconsciously make you pick that card, cuz he got me threw the damn internet.

Something I noticed when I watched this was the way he said spades when he called out the suits made me want to choose a spade but then I didn’t because it seemed like he was trying to get you to pick a spade and the most iconic spade is the ace of spades. Not saying this is how he did it but I definitely noticed he was pushing for him to choose a spade.

It's Hypnosis. Mentalists can make you forget your name, or even make you stuck to your chair. That's why you see Oz is using a lot of "close your eyes" and snapping of his fingers. Derren Brown for example can make you give him your watch, or even money, and he can make his lottery ticket have the right winning number when it's actually wrong. Under hypnosis you can create a full performance with people, and you can make people forget that you guys even talked to each-other, but the best part is that you can tell a person what to think about in a particular occasion by adding a trigger point such as a snap of the fingers, and the person will have no memory being told to think about just that. Derren Brown for example can make a part of your body invisible to another person. So most likely when Oz is giving these people a choice to think about something, they don't even know it themselves that he chose that for him, and sometimes he can even add so the person makes a quick change at the last second, if you look at most of is performances he often adds this.

When they have ro say it isn't staged, that means it was staged.

Im a big fan of Oz but this was in my opinion one of his worst performances, in part because of the execution and not always being able to read the signs with the lighting and stuff.
