    Santana is all about the feel, not about 300 notes in one second, my kinda guy! TABS for this video: bit.ly/40IHNul

    Brilliant and entertaining as always. I've been working on this tune and your perspective really helps to bring it alive. There's the notes, which others have covered, then there's the music, which is this. All in 10 minutes. Well done. Ty

    Thank You. It must have been the winter of 1969, when I saw the man in Miami Florida . He had a SG and a huge percussion section. Some 2/3rds of the band was percussion. There where 'chicks' dancing in bird cages hanging from the ceiling. They where easy to ignore over the mesmerizing power of the band. Be well. Chris

    And again it is proofen that a Strat is the most versetile guitar you can get. 👍 Thank you for this great master piece...i listend to the song since my childhood and now i can start learning to play it. I am not a beginner guitarist but i sadly dont have that much talent AND time to get everything by ear. Thank you 🙂✌️ Greetings from Germany

    Fantastic lesson - beautifully illustrated for easy comprehension with real time chord diagrams and the bars for each section of the song with the chord currently being played, what you’ve played, and what you will be playing next. I’ve played this song for years, but I still learned a tremendous amount in this lesson. Also, you have an amazing voice, and you played and sang this incredible song with so much passion, feeling, and musicality. You sound a lot like Sir Paul, and I can’t think of a much higher compliment! You always provide your loyal viewers with top notch, accurate, enthusiastic, outstanding, first class video lessons. Thank you so much. PS Very nice guitar!

    Hey Pilgrim, I love your channel and thank you for doing it. Why don't you be show us amp settings or pedals to get the tone of for the song ? Im new to the electric guitar and would love to see see how you achieve certain tones. The JJ Cale video on " The Breeze" was awesome but how do I get that tone? Just a thought

    I wish you would have explained how to make the a minor in d chord a little better and slower

  • @noahtenshen

    @noahtenshen

    A minor is just a bar chord (E minor at the fifth fret) with only the bottom 4 strings played and D is the A shaped D with only the bottom three strings played. I hope that helps.
