Raw difficulty of JEE Advanced questions is definitely harder but deeming the other factors, Gaokao takes the title for the world's toughest exam. One factor being, Gaokao is for all Chinese HS Students regardless of the major taken and is the only way that decides the University you enter. However, that's not the case in India. Gaokao is basically the easier version of JEE Advanced but for science, commerce and art students.

well I'm not saying that gaokao is easier than jee advance but jee advance is on some different level all Chinese students can give that paper but in india students first have to clear high school with sufficient percentage which makes you eligibile for jee and then you've to clear jee mains and finally those are only eligibile for jee advance who clear the cutoff of jee mains and even the level of paper become harder and harder and then after clearing jee advance you get a college finally.... and the main thing is that a high school student have to clear all these exams to get a college😐 and you can't give it more than 2 consecutive years... the paper consist of super harder questions + negative marking + result in percentile instead of percentage + alot of stress + only 3 hours for physics, chemistry, and maths + families expectations + being a pressurised middle class family member.... and that's how our whole childhood get destroy😞

​@@onemonth9528 from what I know, different province in China take different papers for their gaokao exams. The difficulties of the papers are adjusted by the amount of educational resources each province get.

Asia in general is too crazy for maths (and science). I am kinda proud of it.

After graduation, I received my engineer degree and immediately moved to Canada to study fine art in a college. Es una simple cuestión de disparidad entre conocimientos, pues sé perfectamente que estamos muy por detrás de otras personas de la misma edad que viven en países con sistemas educativos de mayor calidad, que adquieren sabiduría de mayor utilidad y mucho antes que nosotros, y eso los vuelve mejores candidatos a puestos de trabajo importantes (en el ámbito internacional, claro está). I am preparing for JEE Advanced just checked out the Gaokhao paper.. The Gaokhao exam puts you in more pressure and stressful state. However it's questions are from easy to moderate. The level of JEE advanced questions are still much harder than Gaokhao

Look at this way.... JEE mains/advanced is for students who took 12Science and chosen the Engineering line. While Gaokao is like All students Arts , Commerce, Science stream all forced to learn and give this exam. So imagine all Indian students of all subject lines had to compulsarily give JEE exam...that would be death😂

I used to live in china, i experienced the gaokao exam and all of the pain it causes, i was studying up to 16 hours a day sometines until midnight. I took the exam on June 7th of 2021 and luckily my exam results was actually pretty good

Indian students have other streams that they can choose from but this is a college entrance exam that everyone has to pass

In terms of difficulty of questions and thinking ability JEE advance is tough although it's very competitive ( only 1% can go to IIT ). But Gaokao has immense pressure and the competition is way more than Jee advance. Both are tough .

JEE is mainly about higher secondary level concepts but ISI exams need concepts of lower classes from class 5 to graduation level In terms of mathematics ISI is tougher believe it or not

Try singapore's further mathematics at a levels! It's really difficult hahah only ppl crazy about math take it

This is making me cry… back in the days I studied these tests with my high-school girlfriend. I left in the third year, and she had to take it herself. She’s a top math student in and would tutor me everyday on these exercises. It’s been over a decade and I keep thinking that I should have stayed with her and take these tests.

JEE is fr Science students who took Maths/ Er line. Gaokao is for ALL High school students (No differentiation in Subject lines like Arts,Science,Commerce in India) Imagine if All Class12 Indian students need to pass JEE to get even to Medical/ arts line ,,now thats how Gaokao works

You cannot give jee without clearing 12 paper

Gaokao questions are board level of cbse. Jee adv questions are way more advanced. And jee adv exam is 6 hours long. But in india you don't have to give jee exam. There are other paths to get into college. So maybe in that way gaokao being the only exam to get into college is more stressful

As a JEE asp I feel JEE Physics and maths is toughest, I was able to solve the gaokao ppr easily, well if I was a good scorer in JEE adv I would have been able to solve more efficiently. You should solve the maths of 2016 2022 2021 and 2019

Do the math questions from the PRC Licensure Exams (any engineering degrees like ECE, CE, ME) in the Philippines

Jee advanced is literally tougher. This is because I prepared for that exam and now I am able to solve these questions. They are tricky and twisted but not as complex and creative as JEE advanced. Trust me, I am unbaised

JEE ADVANCED IS FOR ENGINEERING, SO OFC ITS GOING TO BE HARDER THAN GAOKAO (which is given to EVERY student, regardless of major). I mean, the JEE ADVANCED is on a MUCH smaller scale in student size, and it’s also for a SPECIFIC major, so students can choose whether or not they want to apply for engineering.

Jee advance has two papers in a day with 3hrs in each one and with all three subjects maths physics and chemistry

jee advanced is a skill based exam which tests your aptitude on an advanced level not a time based exam in which you have to be a quick problem solver and that's the reason why IITs is the most successful group of institutions i don't know about GaoKao exam because i am in Indian but if it contain some easy questions then it is a time based paper and is not in comparison with jee advanced

I think I know why gaokao is the only entrance exams for Chinese to enter any public university in China. The Chinese government wants to make sure that only a certain number of students can study there. The ones who don't make the cut will have to work in various other fields that don't require university education. That way, they have people who also do menial jobs. If everyone is a graduate, many essential jobs will not have any workers.
