These jeans were all recalled by Oxford to be re-labled as AA rated.

They're still selling the AAA rated version. There's a different AA rated version which is £100 cheaper.

Just as an aside to add something to the video, the 2 tone stitching (lemon and tobacco I think are the traditional names) is something that was done on vintage Levi's so you find it on some denim due to the influence of that brand.

I was hoping you guys would stock these having seen Oxford announce them a while back. The fact that you are stocking them says a lot, I think I might pick up a black pair at some point. It looks like they won't be a nice quality wise as my BSMC jeans, but for the price they seem excellent.

These seem to be the second iteration of the Oxford Original Approved single layer jeans. The earlier ones, I think, were AA rated. Do you know what the technical differences are between these latest ones and the earlier ones? Does this latest version achieve AAA rating simply by having higher rated armour... or is there a difference in the fabrics used? Cheers

Hey, just replying because I was wondering the same thing. I bought the AA rated ones earlier this year and am curios if the difference is that big that it warranted a 3rd A or if there was a change in testing method and they ended up being AAA rated. Cheers

Great review as ever amazing price for the tech perhaps they made them with cheaper labour i wonder ?

How is the stretch on the waist? I am in between sizes and not sure which to go for.
