When my older sister was killed in an automobile accident, I heard her voice in my ear the night after the funeral as I was drifting between awake and asleep. All she said was my name, and it sounded like she was about 2 inches from my head when she said it. A quiet voice. But it startled me into instant alertness and I actually said, "What?" in reply. Nothing. I laid there listening in case I heard her say anything more. As I listened, I became aware of another sound from across the hall where she and my other sister had shared a bedroom. I couldn't identify the sound, so I got out of bed and went and opened the door. My surviving sister was hyperventilating. She had apparently been crying and now she couldn't catch her breath. My sister who we had buried hours earlier had waked me up to be the help our other sister needed. I went and got my parents and with the help of a paper bag we were able to get her breathing calmed back down and we all had a family talk there in the bedroom until she was calm enough to get to sleep. I've had experiences all my life with people and voices from across the veil. That is just one of them. It doesn't make me special but I find this channel comforting and validating, to be able to come here and listen to the experiences that other people have had.

There's something about that state between sleep and wakefulness. The term I've read is 'hypnogogic'. I have visitation dreams regularly after losing a loved one, human and animal. My rational side wants to think it's a psychological defense for dealing with grief, but they're always super vivid and they appear in perfect health and youthful, and always bring a great sense of comfort, and always immediately before waking.

@@fretnesbutke3233 When I hear someone or have an experience that is otherworldly, it is always when I am in a contemplative state of mind. Not really "engaged" but rather sort of drifting mentally. It very possibly has something to do with brain waves at the moment, as though the doorway is cracked slightly open- enough for a connection. It's very interesting and my daughter and I have discussed it, but it happens often enough that I don't consider it that unusual any more. To hear people on this channel discussing it just makes me realize it probably is more common than I thought and gives it a definition that I didn't have before.

Wow....I've had those same experiences as you. Heard my Mom's voice after she passed and she said, John...I'm ok, I can fish or do whatever. And again heard my step brothers voce call my name but he called me Johnny and it was the very same between sleep and awake. Also heard my biological brothers wife screaming in agony and pain clear as a bell. Her voice sounded at a distance but very clear. He told me that she died from her cancer 9 months after she passed though. Before he told me I heard her voice 2 days beforehand. I've seen orbs too and have had a few visions that I've experienced later on too. I've had many things happen this year too. Weird sightings in the sky. I could tall ya but it would take awhile on here but I won't talk about them. I do know that I was told that I'm going to die at 70. I'm 55 now.

@@sleepsound9000 I think "the veil" is an apt description of the division between life and afterlife. I am absolutely not the only one who has had the experience of family, friends and unknown entities slipping through. I believe it is easy for them to cross, easy for them to communicate, as long as our minds are in the right state. The limbo between waking and sleeping reminds me of a door left cracked slightly, and like hearing voices in the next room through a cracked door is the mental picture I get. Isn't it comforting to realize they are that close? I find it so.

Once I lost consciousness and fell on a ground... but surprising thing was that I was in that empty dark place (dimensionless) with that warm feeling around totally in peace and I was like.... Wow I can still think... and after few short moments recovered and felt heart pumping in high rate while lying on a floor. Not an NDE but at least I can confirm that peaceful feeling people talk about. Its unreal how free you feel.

She needs to read Robert Monroe's work. These are not NDEs they are OBEs. This is not said to discount her experiences or her work in any way. But there are too many people coming forward these days claiming to have had NDEs when what has happened is an OBE. They can be equally significant depending on what the individual gleans from the experience.

  • @faithrada

    @faithrada

    Жыл бұрын

I agree that Robert Monroe's books are a great resource. For OBE and an NDE are different in the sense that an OBE is when one's Awareness or 'BEing' leaves or expands beyond one's physical form. Typically one remains Local, but one can visit other places. It can be in current time OR it can be a future event. An NDE however has a spiritual element to it. During my shared NDE ( I was not the one dying).. I was "In the Light". I was In direct contact with THAT / Divine Consciousness/ God.. and it was BEYOND anything the mind could ever imagine. I used to think I understood what Unconditional Love was... but in that moment I Realized that I was not even close. It was.. to put words to it.. a State beyond all understanding. I had touched Source... and it was unbearably beautiful. I had to back away because I did not have the strength (at that point) to bare the intensity of that Divine Love. Each NDE will be somewhat different depending on what that soul needs. For me it was a sign of things to come. A way to prepare me for even more. I understand now that it is one thing to MEET God / Higher Consciousness and understand THAT Infinite One VIA one's own finite, subjective mind.. but it is quite another thing to eventually KNOW God / Higher SELF from God's own UNIQUE and Infinite POV. For that one must Transcend the non-local/non-physical mind and merge fully into SOURCE. Those Great Enlightened Masters. Who have always been with us are not simply about getting us to heaven... as lovely as that is... they REVEAL themselves to us ...when we are ready.. and share their own Divine State.. of Absolute ONEness. Step by step we are lead, by Grace .. the Revealing power of God ... to our own Higher SELF.. which we all share. Eventually we AWAKEN from our own SELF IMPOSED DREAM of NOT God. We eventually grasp that God IS, and always has been, the ONLY ONE HERE... playing rhis cosmic game of Hide & Seek on order to have all these different Mind Experiences... while KNOWING better than to judge ANY of them. You start with the small clues like Obe's... and maybe some clairvoyant stuff, and when we are ready for more... we are given more. It's a wild ride... buckle up. 😊 We are ALL far FAR Greater than our minds let on. ❤

Because your memory of what you experienced was wiped clean upon return because it wasn't meant for you to remember what happened except for the fact you remember nothing about it. Search KZread for Near Death Experience Witnessed by Medical Professionals and that story will convince you of life after death. I can relate to your comment about despising high school and loving college. Man, can I ever. High school was so ego, ego, ego; and I didn't understand it at the time. As I grew older and wiser realizing the difference between ego and spirit, I choose spirit every time. Yes, I love my ego don't get me wrong; it's just I love my higher self and spirit even more knowing that I am surrounded by Light and Love and that I/we are guided . . . always guided. I wish I knew then what I know now. I wish the hundreds upon hundreds of esoteric books that I've read over the last 20-years were available in the early 70s. What a difference that would have made; but I (all of us) needed to go through the journey to learn what is needed to learn. Thank you.

I first heard her when on a boat with my parents and my fathers friend. I eas sbout 3 or 4. This friend followed me to the open stall restroom. I looked up and there he was. I didn't like the look on his face. The female voice said to me in my head, "don't move. He can't see a thing " i stayed still amd the man moved on. I am so jealous of her students! I have cerebral palsy and live in Croatia (I also had the cord around my neck when I was born, they reanimated me for 45 minutes). The school I went to sucked! The teachers were uninterested, spirituality wasn't an option and, basically, I educated myself by reading and watching T.V. She should make it her mission to educate teachers how to pour their Souls into their work. A helluva lot of children would start loving school if they would just be treated like Human beings! ❤

I’m Brazilian and I use to listen to a philosopher in Brazil called Lucia Helena Galvão. She’s amazing and many times she mentioned what Alex said at 51:00 in this video. That people that are superb on their careers have a spiritual connection that brings from the divine the incredible things that they do. She said that Plato mentioned it when he talked about the world of ideas, that the “idea” is already created, but some humans can take those ideas to our world.

So enjoyed this as you both sharing how you came into being🧐🤔there is such a growing need to know more of this which I feel is a failure of what we call church and gathering together on a certain day should be about growing spiritually and connecting to the source we know as God❤ Jesus came down to talk about this kingdom as he demonstrated his purpose of being here as well. We find many times those he chosen still didn't understand much of what he was saying as he taught in parallels 😇 what strikes me the most he let them know the harvest is ripe 🧐🤔 but the labour are few 🤔so many people have a need to hear this because it also says that spiritual knowledge will increase the latter days 🧐😇and here we are listening to you both speak on spiritual knowledge and experience 🧐🙏 I love it keep up the good work and I like to add about your guess 🤔she should have a podcast of her own as well👍😇🥰 bless you both ❤🙏To God be the glory 🙏 of things he is doing through you both Amen 💞🙏

This is a little strange...I am driving to meet a friend for lunch that lives 3 hours away while listening to this episode. I am a huge fan of this show and since I discovered this channel a couple months ago I have been going back and listening to as many episodes as possible and I just love most of them, but there is something really off with this one for me. I don't know why and I can't even explain it, but for some reason I am getting a strange feeling of friction from this one. There are some absolute gems of information coming out of her story, but there's something that is just something about this that doesn't feel right for me.

I noticed she didn't want to answer questions he posed. This one just made me a little anxious for some reason. You can tell he is a little uncomfortable at certain moments too. The light was gone from my eyes. I spent the first 40 years out of body mostly, and was told I need to stay in for my body to keep living and to truly help others. Now, I’m mostly in most of the time. Acupuncture helped my soul anchor in and the sparkle came in. Breath work also works. Thank you for having Dr. Margo McKinnon on. I’m mostly Spirit and challenged myself to develop the other sides, throughout my life. Not realizing the demarcation of five aspects of ourselves but leaning into weaknesses to strengthen them. I am happiest in the Spirit realm. I have always yearned to go to Heaven where all is loving, safe, supportive and loving. I recently realized all of the stressful situations are my opportunities to practice.

Many times in my life I have heard my name when I’m in the space between awake & asleep. The intensity of the way my name was spoken always shocks me awake. One time was right before my mom died, she in Michigan and me in Seattle. I felt her next to my bed and understood she was getting ready to leave. I flew red eye next night and she passed the veil when I was waiting in Chicago for next flight. But thinking, what your guest said, someone jolting you awake, it makes me wonder how many times I’ve had this experience. Definitely felt I don’t belong mainly Bc it’s so hard being around people. Nature, animals, water, wind, trees, the earth are magnificent but people are so difficult.

She said he was depressed he had cancer and went into garage in the car and killed himself by fumes!! She cried saying the cops said it happened like Jan 13 or 14th that he committed suicide!!!

Boy, the Dominance Chart really spoke to me--and the skate park kid story, too. I was a "dazed and confused" kid from a rough background in the 1970's (long hair, pot-smoking, listening to Black Sabbath, the whole ball of wax, lol). I was also a hardcore atheist, and I "hated" school, especially algebra and chemistry, mind-dominant subjects. I was much more physical and oriented towards creativity, especially writing and music. So--despite the atheism--I was probably body-and-spirit-dominant. Fast-forward through decades of mind-blowing synchronicities, STE's and two possible NDE's or NDE-like experiences that weren't drug-related: I finally discovered my life's purpose, which involves computer game development, a subject that was never on my radar. I wasn't a gamer. I knew nothing about computer coding. I wasn't even a visual artist. And I never thought that computer games could have a spiritual aspect to them. When I "stumbled" upon this calling, one door after another started opening for me, including a sudden interest in learning to code, learning about web design and graphic arts, learning how to do 2D and 3D modeling and animation, etc. (Computer coding is very mind-dominant, using quite a bit of logic and the algebraic use of variables and math.) It wasn't all rainbows and lollipops, however! Along with the opening doors, I was confronted by some of the hardest lessons I've ever experienced, to the point where I thought God and the universe were either punishing me or telling me I was headed in the wrong direction. Fortunately I came to understand that, in order for me to have any kind of success with my own game development business, I had to face and resolve a lot of my unresolved issues. That's where the hard lessons were coming from. Sorry, I was going to write three or four sentences, but one thought led to another. I almost forgot the point of what I was trying to say. which is this: never underestimate yourself!😂 Thanks for another great interview and more food for thought!

When so many of the NDE's keep on saying that they telepathically hear a deeply resonating calming, loving, peaceful voice, or seeing an extremely colorful shimmering, shining, energy emanating aura formed of unconditional love! It helps those of us that are capable of understanding that it wasn't even possible for existence to have been able to plan for, then design, and then create its own self! So many NDE's reports, and All of the continuing science discoveries are bringing humans closer, and closer to intellectually, psychologically, emotionally, spiritually be capable of understanding that some kind of extremely intellectually intelligent higher power energy force field is interconnecting with, and energetically binding all of existence itself together! This ladies life experiences, and the lessons that she's able to so eloquently elaborate upon, helps to spiritually, intellectually, emotionally realign, and redirect me into the reasons for my own lifes yin/yang energies experiences/past, future choices in this life! We humans moral/ethical spiritual super consciousness level is being intellectually, emotionally, vibrationally, spiritually shaken! INTO A PROFOUND COSMICALLY SPIRITUALLY INTERCONNECTED AWAKENING/COSMICALLY, SPIRITUALLY INTERCONNECTED KNOWING!
