As a coffee shop owner in a small Georgia town, my days are a blend of challenges and triumphs, all experienced at a relatively young age with my husband. In this vlog, I aim to share the real essence of what it’s like to own a small business, from the unpredictable nature of our weekly schedule to the excitement of exploring new opportunities.
One of the constant challenges we face is managing our time efficiently. My husband and I often find ourselves working long, demanding 12-hour shifts, balancing the daily operations of our coffee shop with other personal and professional commitments. Despite the demanding schedule, we are unwavering in our commitment to providing exceptional service and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for our customers.
In addition to running our beloved coffee shop, I also manage a jewelry business on the side. This side hustle not only adds to our busy schedule but also showcases our entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to pursuing our passions. Juggling these responsibilities requires careful planning and organization, but it’s a labor of love that we embrace wholeheartedly.
Despite the inevitable challenges that come our way, we remain resilient and optimistic. Whether we’re dealing with a hectic shift or overseeing a major remodeling project, we tackle each obstacle with determination and a positive attitude. Our strong sense of community and dedication to our craft have made our coffee shop a beloved fixture in our town, and we are grateful for the support of our loyal customers.
Owning a small coffee shop in a small town is a labor of love that comes with its own set of challenges and rewards. Through this vlog, we hope to share the highs and lows of our journey as small business owners, inspiring others to pursue their dreams and embrace the adventure of entrepreneurship.

I really love seeing you try different cafes and small eateries! It really fulfills my own need to try different places and rate them. Next time you're in ATL, I'd recommend you try "TwoHa's Cafe". They usually seem pretty busy, and the croffles (I have a friend who adores the Biscoff ones) are pretty tasty. I can't say for their coffee though. Love the video ♥♥ and your shop would be the most loved anchor of that new building ♥♥ Edit: Not sure if you've thought of this before, but maybe a bungee cord around the glass syrup shelf would help avoid more accidental knock overs. Just an idea!
