Own A Kubota BX? DO THIS NOW! It could save you a fortune.
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
If you've owned a Kubota BX series tractor long enough, you have probably had an issue with the gas flow. It comes on as a gradual loss of power and escalates into a no start issue. This cheap filter will save you a fortune, and the headache of being without your tractor when you need it most.

WOW! What a great save for Kubota owners. Kubota owes you BIG time. A true gentleman and scholar. You and Jenn stay safe, well and cool.
That’s fantastic. It’s in my Amazon cart now for my BX2380. Thank you.
That's pretty slick! My one gas generator has a similar setup that came from the factory.
Got mine about a month or so ago and thus far so good ! Didn’t notice any slow down in filling tank from a 5 gallon can. This should help with a little more filtration. Have a Blessed Day
Excellent! An excellent suggestion for owners of Kubota mowers :)

LOL should have bought a New Holland, they already have screen filters on the fuel tank. I can testify both my T6 and Workmaster 40 had them from day one when the dealer delivered them.

IDK seems that is far from enough to base a tractor purchase decision on.

@@danharold3087 It goes to show motive in the design. Older tractors have had something like this, but some specific manager decided to omit the filter to save a buck on manufacturing. Some say if it doesn't contribute to new sales, then it shouldn't be included. Others see long term reliability as a value-added proposition for the brand that drives future sales. Which leads me to ask: what other important but easily overlooked feature was omitted?

@@PatrickKQ4HBD Not saying your wrong but I drove farm tractors in the 60s and 70s and don't recall gas or diesel tractors having screens on the tank filler. Maybe this is because farmers were using cartridge filters on the fuel storage tanks and fuel servers. Having a screen sure makes sense on smaller tractors like the BX. Ordered one from the amazon link. Arriving in July! LOL
I have one of these filter in my BX2680, someone else...hmm Messick's did a video a while back about this as well. But its not just a Kubota issue, every piece of equipment out there has this problem in one place or another. Don't blame Kubota alone...don't matter what color you bought, you'll have a fuel issue at some point due to junk getting in your fuel tank.
Ordered one. The BX is a great little tractor.

When I was deciding on what kind of equipment to buy Eric's videos really helped. I was split between JD and Kubota and then Eric posted how his Kubota got plugged up and I decided to get a John Deere. I was posting my findings on a tractor forum and everybody criticized me for criticizing Kubota, they started assuming it was Eric's fault, that he probably got sloppy and allowed dirt into the line and Kubota cannot be the one to blame. I responded: "Eric is a mechanic and he knows how to operate machinery, something is wrong with those Kubotas". and now sure enough, Eric got to the bottom of it; Kubota's design is poor. But Eric not only found out what is wrong with that model, he also offered a solution. Bravo. I'm glad though that I went with John Deere though. Thanks Eric.
just bought it, thank you man 🙏

10 4 that is OK. I will get me one. Thanks Eric. Ironman in Alabama 73s.
Great tip... I'll see if I can find a fine mesh of some sort for my walk behind mower. Debris getting into the gas tank and eventually in the carb bowl can end up being a hassle for sure. You would think all gas tanks would have something we could periodically pull out of the filler hole to clean out any thing that could easily fall into the tank. Believe we have an aftermarket idea here. Thanks again!!

Great tip. Amazing you found that exact fix. Not good news for the Kubota Dealers service department I guess. That said you would think Kubota would have come up with this easy solution.

Farpoint farms do you know were i can find any of the Tampa sweet cigars
you can use a diesel filter, which is what I use.
Wow, briliant thinking!!!, who would have thought?. That filter looks like it was made specificly for that wide mouth opening. Is that filter manufactured from Stainless Steel?
Already did that the 1st week of ownership but thanks 🙏

I live very close to a gas station. I did this, and though I like it, I can warn that you do have to pump slowly from a gas station pump if you are pumping directly. You may not have this problem from a can though.
