38 Million EURO is less than 50 million US Dollar. 5 years ago, that would be 70 million US Dollar. Plus the 38 million EURO property was probably worth 50 million EURO 5 years ago. Its obviously cheaper than ever for an American to own properties in EUROPE.

Economic crisis is everywhere. So why would an American should invest in Europe when there is the same opportunity is also here in the US. And US is way better country than Europe. To go to a nice Mediterranean beach you have to pass three borders, in the US all you have to do is to go to California or Florida and you don't need a passport for that.
